FFS mods please remove post, it is ridiculous So you want to ban free speech because you have a differing opinion why? just put your point of view forward as your argument against mine simplesThe use of this phrase by a grown up invalidates any opinions they may hold.

DC has already shown the 3 years prior that he doesn’t need help. Fans need to be realistic about us as a club and what we can currently achieve in our current situation. Promotion from the conference straight away - many clubs fail this. Promotion from League 2 straight away - who would have thought that? In the play off hunt until the final games last year - over achieved based on budget. Rovers fans have billy big bollocks syndrome and expect us to win every game and have the league wrapped up by mid August. 3 defeats on the bounce is literally nothing compared to some of the sh** other clubs go through yet here we have this toss pot making embarrassing threads like this. There’s nothing wrong with wanting us to win every game, but we’re not going too and some people just can’t seem to accept that. DC has done a lot for this club and he deserves our backing through tough times, not morons calling radio bristol and posting threads calling for his head. Yes his history is impressive but that is what it is history it has no bearing on the present or the future burying your head in the sand and keep looking back only puts pressure on the present. After all alf ramsey won the world cup in 1966 and was quaternary finalist in 1970 but that didn't help when England didn't qualify in 1974. You have to look at the here and now and see he needs help to sort out a situation he has never been subjected to Do you really think history has no bearing on the present or future? Surely history has the strongest bearing on absolutely everything! Anyway, maybe I am just being pedantic, as for the original post, possibly the funniest/biggest load of horseshite I have ever read on a Rovers forum.

If we're staying where we are they're really gonna have to think about parking (yes I know it's been said before) but really noticed it last couple of weeks. Turned up at 13:45 for Plymouth, couldn't get within a mile of the ground. Not a problem for me but obviously is for some of our older fans or ones with young kids. Turned up at 14:30 for Northampton and parked on some dead ground pretty much outside and was away 10 minutes after kick off. The area round the Mem is so built up and the roads so tight I just don't know how they will do it. A park and ride is a start but if you're looking at attracting bigger crowds I don't know how that would be executed. UTG Most prem stadiums haven't got sh** loads of parking take old trafford for example You've probably mentioned the Premier League ground that has the most parking! You can't get much street parking in the area, but there are plenty of places to park (at a price) within a mile of the ground including a gert big car park at the cricket ground.

So those stats suggest we're making nearly twice as many changes to the starting 11 than other div 2 teams and Gaffney's one of the most lethal strikers in English football, even though DC doesn't seem to think he's worthy of a stating place! There is only one stat that matters and that's the final league table.

I'm not sue I agree with you there. During or after any England match social media is full of middle aged blokes venting their spleen about what is wrong with English football. I didn't watch the Slovakia game but I knew England were losing as I started seeing posts about Southgate being, amongst other things, 'A clueless f**king disgrace'. Englishmen, particularly middle aged ones, seem to have this weird propensity for claiming to be avowed patriots whilst enjoying exploding into outrage about their football team! I don't think you read it properly, that might be why you do not agree with it. Any who, not to worry. You seemed to be suggesting that it is trendy for younger people (specifically younger) to dislike the country, I was pointing out it isn't just the younger people.

It is trendy for younger people these days to dislike the Country, whilst that lasts we will never improve the pride that should be shown in playing for England. I'm not sue I agree with you there. When foreign players were banned during the 70s we didn't qualify for any World Cups apart from when we qualified as winners, so I suppose you could argue allowing foreign players has improved the England team But they were also banned in 66 when we won the thing. All of which I think just goes to show that blaming foreigners is not the solution (and not just in football!)

I went to Wembley last night. Must say it was hugely disappointing. The odd bit of class and some pacey forwards is not going to get results against the better teams. The term 'world class' is banded around too often with english players. Just adds to the argument about how poor the premiership is. Its entertainment not quality football. Brings us back to the efl trophy farce. Need to just bin everything. Get premier teams to play their youngsters in their league and let the top teams have a few crap years until the kids come through. 5th Wembley visit - guess the other 4 - shocking atmosphere and a noticable amount of booing for the Ox & Sterling when subs were made. Went with a large group including a Slovak family - a couple of young kids - who were obviously with us but still got a few 'who are ya' from the local 15 year old spurs fan club. Bit of banter yes but this just dragged on in the concourse on the way out. Give me local football anytime, whatever part of the country you're from Give me local football any day When foreign players were first allowed in the platitude trotted out was that English players would benefit from playing World class players every week & hence improve the England team. Worked a treat, hasn't it. When foreign players were banned during the 70s we didn't qualify for any World Cups apart from when we qualified as winners, so I suppose you could argue allowing foreign players has improved the England team

Dirty cheat Dean Saunders. We used to drink with Jock in the FOB bar. After the Liverpool game it was mentioned to him what a dirty bastard Saunders was only for Jock to say 'Nah, I got him with one just before' obviously the cameras didn't see that one!

Unlike standard jobs where you interview then pick your recruit football clubs will have a hit list. Bookies odds are surely based on who is at the top of the list as if they accept then the list will be binned. Whether the potential applicant wants the job is a different story. Odds are pretty much based on who would get the job if they all said yesOdds are based on how much money has been wagered and who it was wagered on.
