And so it begins. How bloody stupid to give it any credence. If we want more English players to benefit, restrict foreign players or reduce the number of kids allowed to be stockpiled by Premier League clubs.
The turkeys have just voted for Christmas.

I think ourselfs and others should pull out of this as comp as it's an insult to lower level clubs.

And I assume BRFC voted in favour of this.
I hope fans boycott all JPT games this year.

Oh dear god. This better be as far as this goes, but I somehow think it'll be the beginning of the end of the fight against the inclusion of B teams in the Football League. I wish the FA would have the balls to tell the PL what they SHOULD be telling them, which is to have a quota of ENGLISH (not "homegrown" Spanish who've been in England since they were 15) in all match day squads.
How about affording the lower league clubs more opportunity/ability to improve and make the game more competitive, not watering it down with reserve teams with no support!!!
AARRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH! Lady Gardens!!!

Don't know what the fuss is about its only the tinpot trophy, doesn't matter who we play.
The only downside is that we can't get knocked out after 1 game, if ive understood it right?.

It's not the fact that it's the EFL Trophy being tampered with, it's the ominous aftermath and what it might become the start of that worries me.

I would hope DC only fields our youngsters and Fringe players. Under no circumstances should we allow first team players risk injuries playing in what is now a pointless competition. I suggest fans choose these games as ones to avoid to save money. An attendance of 20 might send the message out.

It's a one season trial, so I hope that all fans vote with their feet and stay away.

This There maybe some financial damage to the club in doing this, but in this case it's very much for the greater good.

There wont be any Prem teams in our regional group of 4 unless a prem team is going to get allocated to every group.

To be honest most of us know the powers that be don't give a hoot about anything below championship level, all the more reason to make sure we are not below it much longer.
