Ryan Brunt @bruntyy 42s So good to play in the game tonight, came off just to tight shin! Knee is fine! Ps didn't mean to tweet the link!! #UTG
Good news there. My concern is Mansell, I really hope that was more precaution too but with our recent injuries you can never be sure.

I do like that away kit, even if it does bear a striking resemblance to a certain side Clarke and a few of our players used to ply their trade for...

Very happy with this signing and would have been if we were in league 2 as well. I'm surprised that he not only dropped down a league but that he also re located quite a distance. A few more left now and we will be ready for the conference. Hopefully more good news this week and more or less a full squad by the Coventry game or is that asking for too much?..

Oh god their adverts are so annoying. It somehow sounds far more embarrassing than the blue square or skrill prem too.
Hope we get ourselves back out of the crappy league as soon as possible!!

I would agree, at this level our U18s keeper will suffice for backup on match days, he was youth team player of the year after all! If Mildy gets injured then we simply loan someone to cover his absence. Paying for someone to sit on the bench for me is not worth it and an outfield player would be a far better option. How about having a reserve keeper who is a REAL reserve keeper and so will put pressure on Mildenhall to perform. That has been a problem before at the club ! In a perfect world yes a decent reserve keeper would be ideal! But at this level with less resources and budget I'd much prefer our wages to go to an outfield player! Mildy hasn't stuck me as someone who's performances will drop due to lack of competition so far...

I think you'll find that DC is being diplomatic here with regard to a goalkeeper. If you speak to him he will tell you that he wants 4 outfield players. He doesn't want to use up his budget on a keeper when you can sign them at any stage. He just wants a half decent one in reserve/youth team for emergencies. Its no guide to the future, but Mildenhall has always had a good track record on injuries. Who was that playuer we were after but their manager thought "Bristo Rovers are not really a viable option"? Is he still available? Maybe it's him? Marriott? Can't remember the first name but think he was at Cambridge City possibly? A forward?? I can't remember much other than someone called Marriott's manager said Rovers were not a viable option! Hope that's cleared that up for you.

D'Ath is trialling with a League Club. Ahh, not a lot we can do with him if a league side come sniffing I guess. So here starts a twitter refresh day at work then until this signing is announced.

Interesting, not D'Arth then of Mitchell is the only trialist left from that batch. I also saw on Twitter DC wants 2 more wide men, a striker and a centre back.

Chile was my favourite of the tournament by a mile (followed by Brazil), the last verse without the music playing was epic!

Now the World Cup is coming to its last few weeks I am genuinely looking forward to getting back down the Mem on Saturdays so see the gas. Saturday's don't feel right without a pint in the blackthron bar with mates, a pasty, and a scrappy game of footy to watch. Now that the pain of being in the Conference has sank in I am raring to get going again!

Well done to the kid, great move and I hope he develops into a decent championship player.
Or are the scouts from Derby, Hull and Celtic all wrong and the know it all rovers fans on Facebook and various forums right that he is a lightweight inept crosser who can't beat his man?
I hate to moan but the one thing that annoys me most about lots of gasheads (and probably football fans in general to be fair) is the way we turn on young players if they don't immediately become world beaters. He clearly has potential and I can't blame him for opting for the better coaching and facilities (and money) at Derby.

Looking forward to seeing Jake in action, seems like a good signing but I just hope we all give the lad a chance rather than call for his head if his first cross is wayward.
Welcome to the gas!

The defender says he has a special connection with the club, and wants to give something back to the fans. #LeeBrown #BristolRovers
If he genuinely thinks that then he's a top man. Loyalty is often lost at pro football these days and he must have had interest from league sides. One of our better players signing on is probably better than a new signing - we wouldn't get a better left back than him in this league.

From what I have read DC will look to use the loan market a bit wiser than we have in recent years too so I imagine they will be the last to arrive. If we are 2 or 3 short going into the last few weeks I will assume loanees will be the answer.

Is Norwood out of contract? If not then we can surely rule him out with the no transfer fee policy. If he is then it could be interesting...

Really? Imagine he had signed last summer it would have been another name to add to the treatment room. The queue outside Phil Kite's room already equaled a distance equivalent of the Earth to the Moon. We would have probably had to pay a fee and higher wages too being in the League. IF his injuries are behind him then this is the perfect time to sign him in my opinion. Especially as he is already proven in this league. Even if he had missed a lot of games, I bet his extra 5 goals would have kept us in the league. He'd have nabbed the equaliser against Mansfield ! Haha I suppose, we would have probably loaned him out to Exeter in January though so it wouldn't have mattered anyway... Regardless, he's ours now so hopefully his goals this season will get us out of this league.
