The young players BG has brought in are different class to our League 1 plodders and should start against Sunderland. Not sure about the 4-3-3 though Yep, Barrett should be starting every game.

That won't be this season though, will it? Give Garner another transfer window to get rid of the dead wood and bring in 'his' players and then let's see where we are. If he’s such a great coach you all believe he is surely he can coach what is infront of him? Meanwhile we can carry on nose diving towards relegation. He can only do so much with the current players at the club, just compare the lack of creativity in our midfield to Coventry's today.

I can't work out what Garner's favoured formation is, is it 5-2-2-1 or 4-3-2-1, does he even know himself, what formation is he going to plump for at Wycombe? He probably doesn't at the moment. His remit is to change our style of play while reducing cost, as even you must realise a £2/3m loss per year isn't sustainable. We overachieved hugely under Coughlan and were never good enough to maintain a play-off position. We're not going down this season. I hate losing as much as anyone, but change takes time, he's had a couple of months and one transfer window. Realistically what were you expecting?

When we plunge back to division four we can all happy clap and say the project is still ongoing with our rose tinted glasses. That won't be this season though, will it? Give Garner another transfer window to get rid of the dead wood and bring in 'his' players and then let's see where we are.

I don't get why folks want to see JCH leave. Yes he's out of form at the moment (not sure he's yet fully recovered from his injury tbh) but the whole team had been out of form of late! He's a proven goal scorer for us and when he's at his best he's unplayable. Think how long it has taken for us to find a decent striker whist we've been in L1. Do you really think we can replace him with as much talent before the window shuts? I doubt it very much! I would much rather keep him until the summer and gamble on him returning to form at some point. Even when he's not 100% he's worth having on the pitch and I think he will suit BG's style of play as well as he suited GC's. At the end of the day if he's in the box and quality balls are fed to him then he will put them away. In JCH I trust. UTG! Totally agree, yet some posters here would seem to prefer goal machine Nichols to stay instead.

We'll never be able to play BG's way until we get in a couple of midfielers that are comfortable on the ball.

We need to really get behind Ben and the team more than ever tomorrow. A feisty game could play into our hands at home.

I don't get why we played so deep first half. Donny were allowed to walk the ball 10 yards into our half before we challenged. The back 3 were only marking one guy most of the time. Instead of them moving across Leahy and Rodman were left to pick up the wide forwards, leaving the midfield outnumbered and then when we did get the ball the only option was to hump it long and back to Donny. We are so easy to play against. Garner's tactics lost us the game, Donny aren't that good, yet we made them look like world beaters.

Playing 20 yards too deep.

I assume no Rollin today as I haven't heard anything about an appeal over his red v Plymouth, also Ollie is suspended for 5 yellows in the league. So 442 with Craig and Kilgour plus Little and Leahy full backs, Upson, Ogogo*, Sercombe and THD/Rodman, JCH and big Vic up front? *Ogogo has to avoid a yellow to be available v Ipswich I wouldn't be surprised to see Little as part of the back 3. Rodman in as right wing back.

Craig is our best central defender by a country mile. He made one (albeit costly) mistake today. The substitution was a formation change, leaving two younger legs on, nothing to do with his performance.

Difference was even a bang average side like Gillingham had a midfield that were comfortable on the ball, could pass, move and receive it back again. We have no one who can put their foot on it, so are forced to resort to aimless hoofball and when JCH has an off night we struggle. crap! Watch Upson - he's our no.6 ! To be fair he is the best of a bad bunch.

If we were to offload Sercombe would that free up enough money to bring in the creative midfielder we need?

Parkway to Temple Meads £4.10 return. Job done for that side of town. Plus almost £9 to park, unless you can find somewhere outside the station.
