The yellow and green quarters we wore on a wet drizzly night at Maine Road was perfect.

Judge GC's style of football on this season, not last season when he was very limited in how we could play given our position and squad. Given the lack of midfield creativity he's brought in it's pretty clear what style we'll be playing.

I get what he saying but the negative feeling is down to the board not delivering the stadium and training ground and also not investing the type of cash into the playing side that many hoped for when they took over.Wael was happy to milk it up down Glos rd due to the genius of DC,however thus far they have done nothing else in order to grow our club and have gone hiding when sh** gets tough.Thats where the negative feeling comes from. GC did a fine job last year, but with respect to him he has been here 1 year and doesnt feel the pain of the lies, let downs that we have had over the years. He is also replacing our greatest manager of all time and one where ( apart from the last 6 months) under DC we played free flowing football and had success. Its hard for us to get footy woodies over loaning 20 years olds from Barnsley etc.. given the style of play we played under GC last season. This, just this.

Creativity is everything in today's game. Teams will just press us high and force us to play it long, as none of the current midfield can 'put their foot on it'.

Doesn't matter who we've got up front if there's no creativity in midfield. This feels like its gonna be a long hard season.

Good player but not worth it as his signing would split the fanbase more than the tinpot kids cup.

Would have absolutely loved to have seen the Clash Hardly remember much about it, was only 16 or 17 at the time and was walking past the queue with no idea who was playing. Someone randomly offered me a ticket for face value who I later found out was Steve from the buzzcocks. Can't remember who supported them so will have a look for the ticket. Missed my bus that night so had to walk 9 miles home. Edit. Was Feb 1984, support was Billy Bragg. Tickets were 4 quid. Without Mick it doesn't count, worst Clash gig I ever saw.

If we can't offload Nicholls and Reilly, we need better than Jak.

If we stay up, I get the feeling GC will be chomping at the bit to put HIS stamp on the squad overhaul He was a defender.... the defence has been OK - maybe add another centre back and right back Partington/Leads to go Midfield has been un-balanced all season. How many combinations have we tried? I expect 10 fans could argue for 10 different ones? Keep Rodman, Clarke, Agogo, Sincs Try and replace the rest with one genuine playmaker in the middle and 2 pacey wingers Only keep JCH if you can up top New faces needed Bit of raw pace, maybe keep Moore if possible as he could be JCH understudy! Big big job for GC in the summer, act quick and be decisive And please PRETTY BLOODY PLEASE let us be in league one next season! UTG Just a couple who can actually pass and receive the ball would be nice

Hasn't delivered this season. Will be on a good wage. Can't play 442 effectively with him. Shame but need to get rid to move on.

If Lines had come on with 25 mins to play we would've won today.

I can't imagine they will make good reading unless you wear red and enjoy a good laugh They need to stay in their cage on that one - nice stadium or not £24m losses for them doesn’t make good reading either. That BBC article is a shocker & it will all implode sooner rather than later. So why do Birmingham get a points deduction and the Teds don't?

Frustrating penalty miss, but a fair result overall. A fit THD is far too good for this level. Is he signed up past this season? I'm very confident we'll stay up now.

You can't play him and Ogogo at home anyway, no creativity. Were you at the Southend game and if not have you ever actually seen Ogogo play? I watched on I follow, he played very well. Maybe I should amend my comment to 'little creativity'?

Spoke to the club secretary at the Development game today and he confirmed that Ollie Clarke will be suspended for the next two LEAGUE games. You can't play him and Ogogo at home anyway, no creativity.

If Newcastle kids reach the final they will bring their full allocation. They'd take a couple of thousand at best. Not according to a friend who is a season ticket holder up there.
