I suppose there must be many gasheads who work for sainsburys and I guess it must be quite morally awkward for them.
If you worked for sainsburys what would you do? I think if have no choice but to find alternative employment ASAP!

Maybe then people will boycott Sainsburys properly rather than half arsed. If the 30k that went on Sunday didn't use Sainsbury, they would feel it. I actually drove to Tesco on Tuesday night rather than walk to the nearby Sainsburys, just for some chicken. That's your fault GREENS! I had a bit of a tiff with my wife the other day when she exceeded our shopping budget....at sainsburys! It's very annoying when only half of the household is boycotting. I'll sit her down again this evening.

So today's the final day of the trial?
I have a bad feeling about this - but then all through Sunday's game I had a similar feeling, so maybe this is a good omen!

It was hard to comprehend being a supporter of a non-leauge club. Took a bit of getting used to but got my head around it in the end and began enjoying actually watching a winning side. So glad to now be back supporting a football leauge team again though!

If someone could give one, it'd be most appreciated.. Here's my attempt, enjoy your day tomorrow everyone: Tomorrow is the day above all others our Darrell will find out exactly what he’s got inside that dressing room. This is judgment day. We've had days like this before, notably Wembley '07 or Twerton May '90. They took a bit of bottle, let me tell you. But we did it and celebrated some of our greatest victories. They remain days that will never be forgotten. The same opportunity is about to be presented to the Rovers players of today when they make the trip to London on Promotion duty. If they take Grimsby to task with the backing of a the Gas travelling support – they too will be remembered forever. This is the very essence of what being a Rovers player is all about. When you pull that shirt over your head you had better be prepared to take on allcomers. And you have to realise there is no sweeter victory than one achieved after being down and out. These players have to understand a win at Wembley would mean much more than just a place back in the Football League. It would be a symbolic strike back and a clear sign Bristol Rovers Football Club are on the road to recovery. What’s more, it would indicate to all their many doubters that these guys are made of the right stuff after all and really are capable of cutting it at the club and back in the League. Let’s face it, they could do with sending out that kind of message because over the last too many years very few of our players have looked like becoming the genuine article. They seem to like the idea of being a Professional football player and all the trimmings that come with it. I’m sure they enjoy driving nice cars etc But when push comes to shove, how badly did they want it? How much are they prepared to hurt for the honour of wearing that badge? How much does it truly mean to them? There is no place better than Wembley Stadium to find out. Let’s not forget, this is the ground where Promotion was last secured. Kids like Ellis, Ollie and Tom will have to perform like men. It’s part of the growing up process and this is their time. Back in the day you learned your trade playing against big, brutal halfwits who would kick you up and down the pitch in the reserves. These boys are getting a similar education in the Conference. So they should all look upon Wembley almost like it’s a first-team debut. They’ve got to roll the sleeves up and earn their shirts. They have to prove they belong out there. Being a Rovers player tomorrow is more than just an ego trip. It’s a responsibility. It’s a constant test of nerve and endeavour. It’s about making sure standards that have been set down this year are not allowed to slip, no matter how challenging the times. Tomorrow presents this lot with the ultimate test of character. If these players have pride in themselves and in their club they will know already defeat is simply not an option. .......and all this also applies to our brilliant supporters who have stuck by their team through thick and mostly thin times. Tomorrow is your chance to prove.....We're striking back! Now dats what I'm talkin' about!

Cannot see how we've "only" got 26,067. Assuming the See Tickets ticketing map thing is correct, we've sold out Tier 1, Tier 2 and about 1/3 of the top tier. Surely that amounts to more than 26k?! Not to mention the Rovers fans in Neutral areas who have had to be moved. Doesn't make sense. I'm just guessing here, but perhaps when each block is becoming fairly full and there aren't rows available with 5 or more seats together, they then open another block to allow for people making bookings of 5+ seats together. As this progresses, and each new block is opened, the other blocks will have plenty of small gaps in them. Multiply that across all the blocks opened so far, and it could account for several thousand individual unsold seats around our half of the stadium. Maybe that could explain the discrepancy? It's certainly a theory, though I'll be slightly irritated if there are spare seats all over the cat 1 areas (as I wanted two for me and my dad!). We shall see soon I suppose!

The figures just don't add up. I'm fed up with the conference twitter updates; as someone else has suggested, let's wait and see for ourselves.

This whole saga will be over in a few hours when the Conference Twitter updates and breaks down the numbers. You have more faith in the Conference twitter feed than I do. I suspect they'll find a way to add some confusion / uncertainty to the mix.

And it's nice that he considers us his most prestigious client in recent times (based on the fact BRFC is mentioned first in the list!!)

Me and Mrs73 are well gutted. My boss has decided I am unworthy of a days annual leave to go to Wembley..... I could have killed her but I cannot pull a sickie as she has been fantastic to me over the past 12months when I have had personal issues ie family death and my divorce. Will be in the Railway Tavern, Fishponds as soon as my shift finishes at 12.30 If you set off at 12:30 and drive like a bat out of hell, you should make the second half and the post-game celebrations...

My dad has just told me our tickets have not yet arrived. I bought them on Thursday and according to the tracker they were dispatched on Friday If they're not on the doormat in the morning, call see tickets. Think I read on the site you need to let them know 2 working days before the event. They should be able to send some replacement tickets to wembley for you.

I suspect the final number of rovers fans in attendance even after the game will remain one of life's mysteries - all wel'll know is 'grimsby took about 13,000 and rovers sold more by a ratio of 2.379:1'

Looking at what we've filled on the Wembley plan, there's surely no way we've sold under 28k.
I'm becoming irritated with myself at being bothered with how many tickets we've sold.
Regardless, if we've sold out tier 1 and 2 and a 1/3(ish) of the top tier - all that blue'n'white is going to look pretty bloomin' awesome!! Roll on Sunday!!!

FOOTBALL CONFERENCE @conferencefooty · 7m 7 minutes ago Will not give any further daily sales of tickets until Friday evening when we will give an update of the full latest figures we have. Thanks twitter.com/conferencefootyNot very helpful! Oh well, I suppose it's not likely to go up by more than 3 or 4k between now and then anyway. I just hope their 'full latest figures' don't include any mention of ratios!
