Am I the only person who didn't go for special delivery?! I think I'm going to join you. First class should be next day and you'd think they'd block it as an option at the point there's a risk it won't arrive in time using that option!

If you've arranged special delivery - as I have - then someone will have to be in to sign for the tickets. They will not end up at the Post Office. I was told the courier will attempt a second delivery the folllowing day but if there is still no-one home they were be returned to sender! Your post has brought on palpitations! That's amazingly inconvenient. I guess I'll just have to stew over my ticket delivery decision overnight - no idea what's best now.

It would somewhat put a dampener on things if an adverse court decision issued just before our big Wembley day out.
On the other hand,I suppose, it'd be an unbelievably unforgettable one if we get funds for the stadium AND win promotion in the space of a week!!

It seems like most people are plumping for special delivery then? I was intending to order using 1st class delivery, as special delivery needs a signature and if no one's home it means the hassle of collecting from the post office. However maybe that's the lesser of two evils if there's even the slightest risk that 1st class won't arrive in time!

Someone on Twitter reporting we've sold over 18,000 on the first day . If that's true we got to be on track for 40k!

Looking at the sparse crowd in that vid is actually quite depressing; I think I'd rather the game be held in a prem ground if the attendance wasn't above 40k - which thankfully it will be (and more) for our game!!! :-)

When booking does it say how long tickets take to arrive using standard mail delivery?
I'm having to wait until Thurs to order mine, and wondered whether there will be enough time to book them without the need to pay the £6 for next day "special "delivery charge. Ideally I don't want to pay the extra £6, but at the same time I want to avoid the stress of listening out for that precious letter to hit the doormat each morning as the big day rapidly approaches....!
Cheers!

14:00 s..t, what time is the best time to leave Bristol by road then, I'm thinking 10:00 I booked a national express coach to wembley which leaves at 9am gets there 11:30. So by car you're probably talkin a 2 hr journey
