As i said before, I'd like us to get a few trialists in during the summer and unearth a gem or two. My suggestions would be any of: Jack Hazlehurst (City of Liverpool) Hazlehurst to Burton

Joe Haigh worth keeping an eye on this season at Farnborough. 21-year-old creative midfielder with an eye for goal. Over three seasons in U18-21 football at Chelsea, he averaged a goal almost every three games, and a goal contribution of better than one in two.

Just looked back to the original post from June 2017 and you were suggesting some bloke called Ivan Toney. Just goes to show that you know your stuff Wes.

Hi pirate have you checked out james Bailey who plays for Kendal town he has scored 37 goals in the 23-24 season Only snippets online. Old fashioned number 9, good in the air. MASSIVE step up from the NWCL though. Lucas Weaver another from that level also caught the eye with his goals and has just stepped up to National League with Altrincham. They recruit well from lower levels and Weaver is certainly one to keep an eye on next season.
There is actually a lad with a lot of ability playing even lower in the pyramid worth a trial for clubs at a much higher level. LB/LWB Dan Lowey, a 21-year-old former Everton academy player who spent 9 years at club and coached in academy by former Rovers striker Paul Tait.

Another player worth monitoring this season is Matty McDonald at Warrington Town. A 21-year-old central midfielder with an eye for goal who was well schooled at Everton and Crewe in his youth. If he can have a full season free of injuries I think he has enough potential to catch the eye of clubs at a higher level.

20-year-old Jack Maskell is striker who has impressed at a lower level and will be interesting to see how he gets on this season having earned a move to NLN club Darlington. Previously Maskell had a fine season during 22/23 as he claimed the Ebac Northern League Division Two Young Player of the Year award during his time at Horden CW and last season Maskell scored 26 goals in 36 games and cleaned up at the Dunston UTS end-of-season presentation night as he claimed the Players' Player of the Season, Committee's Player of the Season, Supporter's Player of the Season, Top Goal Scorer, and Goal of the Season awards. He was also named the Northern Premier League East Division Young Player of the Season. One to monitor and keep an eye on 👀

Another striker worth keeping an eye on moving forward is Owen Oseni who recently moved to Gateshead. Came through the ranks at Waterford in Ireland, before a move to Derby. Had a couple of decent loans at step 2 and 3 in the non-league pyramid before his release from Derby and subsequent move to the Heed.

Fady Sidiki Coulibaly, a 22-year-old defensive midfielder, will be part of the Mali 🇲🇱 Olympic squad and worth scouting too. Linked in the past year or so with French club Valenciennes and Turkish club Göztepe, with a fee in the region of £60k rumoured to be enough to get him.

Jesse Randall, a 21-year-old winger, will be part of the New Zealand 🇳🇿 Olympic squad and another worth making enquiries about and scouting. Recently made his full international debut after a prolific spell in front of goal playing in his homeland.

Dan Atherton, young keeper, also worth a look if he keeps progressing. I mentioned Ben Garrity to the Rovers, when he played for them also.
