***Official Match Day Thread Sponsored by GGMI (and Weetabix)***
What's the predictions tonight then guys? Finding this one hard to call. It will be interesting to see the mind games between the 2 managers as they are well aware of each other.
On what to expect, Hurst said: “Possibly the unexpected.
“(Manager) Darrell (Clarke) is not frightened to change as he sees fit for any individual game. Formation-wise, he has always been quite flexible. “We have seen them play quite recently but I’m not going into it thinking that is the way he’ll go. “They have had some good results and some not so good results. They will be looking to challenge for the play-offs.” “Gaffney and Harrison are their two strikers at the minute and they can cause problems – they are a big lads and a good focal point for the team.”

Think we are unpredictable enough to win there. We never seem to do well there but I'm going for a draw at least.

9 wins 4 draws is a hell of a run but it's got to end somewhere. 0-1 Gas.

Not what I want but DC will go back to the old guard:
Slocombe Leadbitter Sweeney Lockyer Brown Moore Lines Sercombe Sinclair Harrison Nicholls
Heart says 2-0 away win, head says 2-1 loss, with all due respect though, not quite sure how Shrewsbury have become the team to beat.

I'll have a pop at what I think the team will be.
-------------------Slocombe-------------
Leadbitter----Lockyer----Sweeney----Bola
-----------------------Clarke-------------------
-------------Lines---------------Sercombe---------
-----------------------Sincs-------------------
---------------Ellis-----------Telford-----------
Bola might play RB with Brown LB. Partington doesn't often play 3 games in a week hence my theory behind him not starting. Sinclair is back and the diamond we have been using a lot would suit Sincs. Especially if Shrewsbury play it from the back (not sure if they do).
Sweeney over Broadbent. Sweeney was only dropped due to Int duty and Broadbent doing well vs Northampton.
Up front, I think DC will be conscious that Hurst will be expecting him to play Ellis and Gaffney. Nichols isn't earning his spot and Telford deserves his chance.
Also I've just realised that would be 4 changes. DC makes 3-4 changes a game. Knowing DC he'll probably play the same team as Saturday now!

Will they fall away? Quite possibly. But they've certainly done brilliantly so far and will be a very tough test this evening. I like the Shrews though. Fantastic memories of our playoff win and what brilliant supporters they were following defeat.

Really fancy Rovers chances in this one. I just have an inkling that we are going to turn them over. I think it will be a high scoring game too. 2 - 4 Gaffers 2, Bola and Harrison.
