He did say £700 between them but shouldn't talk about players wages on live radio very unprofessional from DC I think after he wished he never said it.
sorry I made a mistake and DC said they cost £700 between them but no mention of wages I listened to it again so my mistake.

I thought DC had it oh so nearly right today.
He had to avoid the humiliation of another thumping. It's not his natural style to make us play so deep, but it worked until the 94th minute.
Very disappointing to lose again, but nothing to be ashamed of. Most predicted a defeat anyway. And those that didn't, secretly thought we'd lose.

so in front of a few thousand people he did his worst ? Think about it Yup thought about it. It was sh1te. If that was his best he shouldn't have been asked. Been to a few military funerals and repatriations where the bugler fails to hit all the notes due to the emotion of the occasion. So it wasn't a perfect rendition of the last post. Who cares. |

I was listening to the interview, albeit interrupted but I never heard DC mention an actual value. cost £700 between them I have an excuse the wife was nagging in my ear about some rubbish before she went out. Appologies! |

Whilst i retain faith in DC i have concerns in two areas. Firstly he is clearly not happy. He sounds miserable and defensive in his interviews. He is also doing a Paul Buckle impersonation in telling us to lower our expectations. Secondly recruitment hasnt been great since we returned to the league. We seem over reliant on loans and Danny Coles’ agency. We have made some very poor signings Sercome and Bodin aside. There is a real lack of experience in the defence.
Im not quite sure where we are going at the moment and we need to really dig in and get out of this slump asap.

With young / inexperience at this level, there are going to be inconsistencies. We haven't got the squad we / or perhaps DC would like - he just stated in his post match that Broadbent & Menayese are on £700pw between them, so I wouldn't expect them to put in a flawless performance especially with the pressure they were under today. You got too be able to do it week in and week out and remember we lost 1-0 no points 4 defeats on the trott not good enough from the tea lady to wael. Bit sexist! I heard we have a tea man. |
