It's not a racist post, but what you've done, is change the words around to make it into a lie. Bags you have convinced yourself that your post is the truth. Nothing ever comes down to skin colour but instead it comes down to attitude of the individual. That's a really weird thing to say. I write my experiences, I know them to be true, that's why I wrote them, but you reckon I've convinced myself they're true? And I'm not sure what your last sentence has to do with me.
Let's just leave it at that as quite frankly this is all getting rather tedious.

Baggins / Hugo It's classic tactics to divert from the original assertion. That was made by the poster called Jaggas. The same member who made an hilarious assertion about Kuwait. Pathetic really

Stuart, Bags said 'he doesn't know any immigrants, but the ones he does know?? then later he said 'but I know plenty of white Brits' for me this is a post which has concluded behaviour by skin colour, yes which I think is racist. Some many ideological people these days are more than a little sensitive to the opposite opinion so that's why I changed the words to show what it looks like, I'm pretty confident if my post would have been the first this board would have exploded with racism accusations. I think it is important we have balance and fairness. The post for me gave a biased view that immigrants work hard doing menial jobs whilst 'Brits' (incidentally it's racism if the Pakistani word is shortened like this??) stay at home with trivial complaints and abuse the system. I have worked in a mixed race environment for 30 years and I can tell you that plenty ofimmigrants abuse the system along with of course plenty of 'white Brits'. I'm off to work now so unable to reply until this evening. Still think you are reading too much into it whilst not responding to others. Anyway, hope your day went well. I am off on holiday shortly so won't be able to respond for at least a week by which time we may actually be back on topic. Maybe.

I actually wrote: I don't personally know any immigrants, but the ones I do think fall into that catagory are the ones driving delivery vans, washing cars, sweeping roads, picking up garbage, pushing wheelchairs in hospitals.
I give up.

Time to let this thread go and perhaps discuss Brexit next week now that it seems the EU have given the Red Light to the farce that is the PM's so called Chequers White Paper.

Yesterday ploughed my way through a half page editorial in Le Figaro entitled "We must avoid a hard Brexit with the uk". The paper extolled Brussels to take very seriously the proposals -even vague ones - from the UK. In one paragraph it stated that the EU is at a crossroads, not referring to Brexit but referring to the economic, diplomatic and security issues faced in the EU (quote "Who would have thought this even two years ago?)Additionally it pointed out the lack of love coming from Putin, Trump and Xi. Makes you think.

It also to me shows that the eu relies on our security system ,GCHQ etc more than most people realise and more than anyone is willing to admit.

I realize I'm probably opening myself up for attack here, but if Trump and Putin both hate the EU I can't help but think the EU is probably a good thing.

I wonder why Johnson, Reese-Mogg, Aaron Banks, Putin and Trump hate structures which defy their self interest. I wonder.
