Saw him Saturday. Didn't put a challenge in, didn't put a pass together, didn't wander into their box, didn't move 5 yards away from the half way line, all game. That's what's wrong with him
Knowing me, he'll bang 2 in this afternoon.

Great win. And to some of the posters on the first four pages of this thread...have a look at youselves. Constructive comment is good, but comments before the game has even started along the lines that DC has lost it??? Jeez, the season is only two games old and the over reaction is ridiculous. What was the line up please, exctly, for those who saw the match ? Did we play 2 upfront ? and how was the defense and midfield ? It was very much a 4-4-2 with Matthews and sercombe out wide. They kept swapping wings and drifted inside to their more natural position to help out. Both fantastic today but not sure it'll work every week. If Matthews could use his right foot he would be one hell of a player. 2 up top and both played out of their skin. Seemed to be on the same wavelength, Nichols rightly got a standing ovation as he left the pitch. Couldn't ask for more other than a goal. But I think if he plays alongside Payne all season he'll score goals. He won headers free kicks and linked up the play well. Not sure how much that had to do with Wycombe poor defending though. Payne for me is every bit as good as Harrison. Excellent purchase. Craig left back doesn't work. James Clarke had a better game today against their winger who was their best player. Prefer slocombe to Smith but couldn't really see the save he made from the stand we were in. Ref was a cock. Didn't give anything against akinfenwa despite the number of times he used his hands to gain advantage. Overall a good win against a poor side. |

Well done DC for ignoring all the advice on here, his fav song must be' My Way 'surely!most of us expected goals from high balls into box and Craig and Clarke responsible ,not many expected them to be goals for!Well done to the travelling fans for keeping the faith, great turn out and support, hope for at least 4 points from next two games , onward and upwards , come on you Rovers ! def a Blackthorn night !

Credit to DC. He picked and prepared a team which completely dominated large periods of the match and fully deserved the win. Away wins are worth their weight in gold. Excellent from all the players today and it was very important to kick-start our season after the first two games. Two home games to come now. Let’s get stuck in!

A bit harsh on Craig, I can't recall him making one mistake and also scored, not sure what more a back up full back is supposed to do! |

We do actually have a good bunch here, a solid left back on loan and perhaps a centre back and I don't see why I shouldn't be giving my QPR boss a good laugh at work. He is not happy with their position at present, said should have kept Ollie as he was at least trying to give the younger players a chance. Not at all happy with the Wally In The Brolly Anyway, as I said I'm off with him and his mates to watch them play the Teds on Tuesday, then we are going up the following tue to see the REAL team, us, loud and PROUD to be in the famous quarters!
