I'm not sure exactly what more Midland wants from DC? It would be interesting to hear exactly WHY he doubts him SO MUCH.... I'm 45 and I've not seen a lot better? |

What was the line up please, exctly, for those who saw the match ? Did we play 2 upfront ? and how was the defense and midfield ? It was very much a 4-4-2 with Matthews and sercombe out wide. They kept swapping wings and drifted inside to their more natural position to help out. Both fantastic today but not sure it'll work every week. If Matthews could use his right foot he would be one hell of a player. 2 up top and both played out of their skin. Seemed to be on the same wavelength, Nichols rightly got a standing ovation as he left the pitch. Couldn't ask for more other than a goal. But I think if he plays alongside Payne all season he'll score goals. He won headers free kicks and linked up the play well. Not sure how much that had to do with Wycombe poor defending though. Payne for me is every bit as good as Harrison. Excellent purchase. Craig left back doesn't work. James Clarke had a better game today against their winger who was their best player. Prefer slocombe to Smith but couldn't really see the save he made from the stand we were in. Ref was a cock. Didn't give anything against akinfenwa despite the number of times he used his hands to gain advantage. Overall a good win against a poor side. Thanks ! I think i still won't be able to come see a match this summer again. Maybe later in the year, but it's good to ear more from the team than the reports on the bristol post. It's good to ear for Payne.
I hope the change could profit Nichols.

It's a pity he hasn't a right foot if he plays on the right though.

I hope all the posters mocking the selection come back after and hold their hands up and admit they were wrong if we win. Doubt it though. My name is Alex , I was wrong. UTG !!!!!! I was getting at the people who go way over the top with their comments on a team selection even before they see how the team is set up. We all look at a team and groan or sigh when a team is selected sometimes. |

The team he picked today put in a good attacking display and with a bit of luck would have scored more and bar a missed clearance by Broadbent would have kept a clean sheet. |

Rovers fans saved their biggest applause for Tom Nichols when he was taken off today, what did you make of him?
Tom is a very talented player, he was lucky in the first half because the keeper made a great save off him. I think in the beginning of the season his performances have been good if I am honest with you. There was a change of shape today, we went two up top because I thought that would hurt them and he and Stefan Payne were excellent.

Playing 4 centre backs.. what a joke.. How many league games or in james clarkes case league/conference games have todays full backs played at full back? I reckon between 150-200 between them maybe even more. |

Sounded like Joe Jacobson was one of their better players WYHHB. I actually would right now! On loan, until our new LB is fit! Only nagatives from today, conceding against a team who looked very poor up front and we really should have scored more than two. Nichols had one of his best games, maybe he finally has the right partner. Let’s just hope he can get a goal or two soon. |

Perfect day with the Sh1t getting done 2-0 at home by Middlesborough. The Sh1t are normally their bogey team, so hopefully that indicates they are in for a crap season.
