DC on the radio, no criticism of the defence but reassuringly we're going to learn from this and dust ourself down. How can he not be furious with such sh*te defending? Not sure berating them in public would be any good for their confidence. I'm sure he's told them some home truths behind close doors.

Sorry to all the Craig disparagers but it is completely wrong to blame Lockyer or Craig for any of the goals tonight. The first was down to James Clarke being roasted by the best player on the pitch and Smith possibly not doing as well as he might have. The second was just rank bad goalkeeping in letting a soft shot squirm under him. The third was allowing a cross to come in unchallenged (again) and then Smith getting in front of Broadbent. We played some really good stuff tonight, had more possession and created more chances than they did. However, we clearly can't defend (and that's as a team rather than one or two individuals) and we can't score goals. I hope that DC plays Bonham on Saturday too, as he must be better than Smith. But here's the uncomfortable truth. Gasheads are not exactly performing either at the moment. Singing "how sh*t must you be, we've scored a goal" is an example of crap support and does NOTHING to help a side clearly struggling for confidence. Night. I agree. I think people forget how bad its really been at this club before today, over the past 15/20 years.. We have had two 10/10 seasons in the conf, and then League 2. Given the size of our club we shouldn't had been in league 2 to begin with so in reality it was just jobs done. Two - solid seasons in L1 and with the magic of DC ( and Im his biggest fan btw) and its come to this...? For me we have a potential premiership/at least a championship fanbase of we get the ground etc.. But right now things are not right on the playing side but its not at the point of these chants..

Surprised Wael hasn’t been all over social media, he loves a game in West London - even he has lost interest!? Probably pitched a tent outside John Terry's house to try and get yet another selfie. He can bloody well leave the south stand where it is!

That is where the heat needs directing, not at DC, he clearly hasn't been backed in the key areas given how he's been scrabbling about at the bottom of his list to get a striker, and the goalkeeping situation is laughable. Someone started a thread on the Facebook appreciation page praising the ALQ's this weekend and most posters have backed him, I sense they'll wake up when we're relegated come May! You change your tune like a 10 hour DJ set.

Clearly we need an experienced loan centre back for starters. Only a short time ago DC said he was not keen on loan signings. Not long after that he talked about bringing a couple in. Now he says we can't bring anyone in without someone going out and then tells us tonight he is having to manage with a smaller squad than he has had before. I would suggest porkies are being fed to us! I await his aftermatch ramblings with interest. Lose Saturday and surely the vote of confidence from the board will not be far away.

I don't go to many away matches, but am going to Shrewsbury Saturday. Hoping for Payne/Rodman to get a goal against their old team. And Bonham in goal of course. Am going because I have never been to Shrewsbury.

Definitely arrogant. A lot of factors and reasons for supporters to attend or miss midweek away games, in London, in a cup,at a stadium we never go to. Trying to have some sort of view or judgement on that is fairly arrogant.

Kelly did ok tonight at LB. He should keep his place for Saturday. Let down with his “experienced” players around him tonight. We desperately need some reinforcement through the team though. 2 FBs, at least 1 CB and a winger. +1 for Kelly. He was the only one who shone in a pretty poor display. He needs a run in the side.

Jesus what formation were we playing that day? That was the team that played Mansfield Last game of rele. season I know we try and forget him but pretty sure JJOT played that day and missed a header that would have kept us up. Also pretty sure we'd have started the game with 11 players not 10!

I find it weird he's back in League 2 not getting a start for a team in the bottom half.
