Blimey right miserable bunch of posts. Got to watch the gas in my front room with the kids (Mrs fell asleep) for a tenner. Wasn't the greatest performance, but seen much worse. Payne hit bar and Sercombe had a good effort well saved. Should have won but hey ho we didn't. Don't get to see many games these days so have to rely on the forum a lot....was only really disappointed by Broadbent. Really impressed with Bonham. Completely underwhelmed by Reilly and Jakubiak. 3 undefeated. Better feeling than a few weeks ago. UTG Are you sure she didnt slip into a coma watching that crap? |

Well that was hard work watching us struggle against ten men.
The biggest problem as I see it is we give possession away far too much and rarely win the ball back. Our passing is inaccurate and under any sort of pressure gets worse! Opposition managers have noted this and all seem to play a pressing game which leaves us with even less of the ball.
We need to improve that aspect of our game above all else, with our finishing the few chances that we create the next priority.
Right now it feels like a long season ahead but a few wins can soon turn things around.

Got to accentuate the positives!din't lose, clean sheet, 4 unbeaten, win on Sat and 2 points from last two away games will look OK!but we do seem punch less and unimaginative so is it worth giving some one like Baghdadi a go Sat to create width and put some decent crosses into box for strikers, hope fully Reilly and Jacks?

This side is no better than any of our recent relegation sides. No edge to us once again. At the risk of sounding obvious, every time we get a game changing player, they get bought by someone else. Taylor, bodin, Ellis. Even going back to carayol. When we find / develope, a player who can make his own space / time / goals, they want to leave and we sell him. Catch 22. Then we're left with basically 10 or 11 bog standard players. |
