Watched on ifollow and that was shocking, possibly the most boring, ineffective team display for many a game
Playing Serc's on the Wing and The Beard upfront.... Jesus what is our manager on about ?
and Bennett..... missed a wide open goal chance from 8 yards out from the centre of the Goal... and people moan about Tom Nichols FFS
Broadbent a liability, put TC back in his rightful place alongside the goal machine that is Tom Loc's
Still we got a point but i feel real sorry for the poor people who went to that dross

He’s done well yeah but stubbornness will get him the sack eventually I’m afraid. Who's going to sack DC when our owners seem to have gone AWOL! It'll only take a phone call to the fall guy to carry out the deed. But why would they sack him IF we're being taken over - that'll cost them money. He will become someone else's financial liability IF we're about to have new owners. However it's a difficult situation because the owners (I presume) will want to maintain League 1 status. Unfortunately DC has been found wanting for whatever reason since around the close of the January transfer window - I have my thoughts on this, others will have theirs and some will disagree. If he's fired it might just suggest to me that there's no imminent takeover.

Got to accentuate the positives!din't lose, clean sheet, 4 unbeaten, win on Sat and 2 points from last two away games will look OK!but we do seem punch less and unimaginative so is it worth giving some one like Baghdadi a go Sat to create width and put some decent crosses into box for strikers, hope fully Reilly and Jacks? Not going to happen, Baghdadi is currently injured

I didn't see the game so can't comment on the performance but from a purely result point of view 2 points from 2 on the road isn't a bad return, we now need to win Sat to turn those into good points. Should we expect to beat 10 men of course but I think some people fail to consider the opposition are allowed to make it difficult. We don't have a devine right to beat anyone in this league, remember the melt down after Accrington & look where they are.

45 points and counting for survival. DC knows this and with this squad I'LL take being in L1 next season as an achievement!
We won't be able to have a mid-season slump this year! 😀

We won't be able to have a mid-season slump this year! 😀 We don't normally have a mid-season slump though, do we? We normally start poor, pick it up around October/November, crash out of all the cups ASAP before dropping off the last 6/7 games. Trying to put my slightly more positive hat back on today - 2 clean sheets on the road and undefeated. If we beat Walsall on Saturday its a very productive week, if we lose then it was thrown away.

I’m as pro-DC as they come but honestly, some of the football at the moment is John Ward levels of dull.
Proper turgid, life-draining stuff.

Fine lines though - a goal hungry (greedy) forward and we probably would have beaten Southend, Plymouth, Shrewsbury, Bradford and Rochdale. Do we have such player in the squad. I did think it was going to be Reilly or possible Jack but certainly not happened yet. Reilly is adjusting to life outside of Scottish football but hopefully with some coaching from Marcus he might become as prolific as Jason Roberts. Trouble is we need it to happen sooner than later.

And why not the last third of last season and all of this season he has totally f**ked us up I'm going to ask you a question that might sound a bit weird. Your avatar that says DC out. What's it written on? Because it looks like it's written on an incontinence sheet? If that's what it looks like it must be the same paper that DC uses for his tactics and team selection then

Just listened to he who can do no wrong post match interview One comment was that his forwards are not forming partnerships ( or something like that) but how can they when he changes them every week What world does he live in cuts it certainly isn't the one the rest of us live in

With them down to 10 men, could have put some pace on in the second half, Reilly and Jakubiak together.

I watched last night's game. It was a poor game all round. As they say - the first half was even, and the second half was even worse ! Once again we couldn't deal with pace, our perennial problem. At least Payney-boy made a bit of effort this time. On to the next one. UTG

To play devils advocate: To many, a month ago moaning about drawing away from home seemed miles off. If we win on Saturday- it’s been a good 2 weeks True most would have taken a point before the game. Not scoring is a worry, but we are getting stronger at the back. We go into Saturday unbeaten in three, four if you count WHU boys . A home win on the weekend and we can start the climb. UTG true, but as we can see we are nothing special this season so you want to win against the weaker teams (especially when they've 10 on pitch) before the tougher games come along. Looks like Walsall will be a toughie.

We created 5 good chances last night one a great save from their goalie and one goal against in three games, two of them away from home. Not sure I like all the changes but the last three results doesn't deserve endless criticism.

I cant argue with that. DC still clearly doesn't know his best team which is not acceptable when you have reached October.

Although our overall play was slow and boring at times. We still created quite a few chances. Even when playing against 11 during the first half, we hit the underside of the bar, Clarke missed a one on one where the keeper made a good save, Partington put the ball across the six yard box and it somehow stayed out.
During the 2nd half Partington, Sercombe etc seemed to tire but they have been out for a while. The keeper made 2 good saves to deny Sercombe, one from range, but one close, when the ball dropped to him at the back post. We also had a few half chances.
So although it was quite a poor performance,I don't think it was as bad as some are making out.

As soon as I saw the teamsheet I knew there'd be square pegs in round holes.
Seriously, did DC not have a pre-season like everyone else to sort a first team 11 in their natural positions?

Probably Rodman & Matthews were marked down as wingers and he didn't expect Sercs to be out injured a month nor Payne to be so ineffective.
