Let's see if we can all come up with a concensus on who should START the game on Saturday. Of course DC wont pick the team we will.

LCH: Craig
RCH: Clarke
RB: Partington
LM: Bennet
LCM: Lines
RM: Rodman
RCM: Sercombe
Striker 1: Payne

We will get turned over with that team. Totally unbalanced. No holding midfield player, one completely out of form, no width and only one forward who offers any movement.

You could have put any team in there and he would have disagreed with it.

4-2-3-1
Bonham Leads rb Kelly lb J clarke cb Craig cb
Lines dcm Clarke dcm
Mathews left wing Rodman right wing Sercombe no 10
Jak striker.
Get it to lines he’ll hit the wide players because for once we’ll have width and we can get back to playing the way that got us to league 1.
DC seems to have forgotten what works and he’s gone off on a tangent this season.

Gk. Bonham
Rb. Leadbitter Cb. Lockyer Cb. Craig Lb. Kelly
Cm. Upson Cm. Sinclair
Rm. Rodman Cam. Sercombe Lm. Bennett
St. Reilly
How people are suggesting sercombe on the wing is beyond me. Each to their own though

Attack! Attack! Attack!
4-3-3 to stop the attacking players dropping too deep and just making a 5 man midfield.
GK Bonham LB Kelly CB Craig CB J Clarke RB Partington DCM O Clarke Edit: Upson CM Lines CM Sercombe ST Reilly ST Jakubiak ST Rodman
Then go more defensive once we're 5-0 up...

See a few have O Clarke in the side. He's suspended, so won't be playing.

Starting 11 for me is how I instantly see the set up when I look at our team’s preferred positions: 4-2-3-1
GK: Bonham
LB: Kelly (rate him, needs more gametime) CB: J Clarke (dependable) CB: Craig RB: Partington (for a decent cross)
DCM: Sinclair (Harasses for 90 minutes) DCM: Lines (As O Clarke is suspended)
RM: Rodman (Meh. Only one I really see doing it) CAM: Sercs (A number 10 all day long dunno what DC is doing with him wide) LM: Bennett (Same as Rodman)
ST: Jakubiak (Decent player, need his movement. If Payne was any better at jumping I might start him for his aerial presence but unfortunately he seems to have concrete in his boots)

We will get turned over with that team. Totally unbalanced. No holding midfield player, one completely out of form, no width and only one forward who offers any movement. Sercombe achieved a lot of his success last year in the middle when Lines was playing as a holding midfielder next to him. We’ve tried a lot of things this season and failed so I’d argue that going back to a basic 4-4-2 where all the players know their roles might not actually be a bad thing. As for the movement up front, Payne has demonstrated he can be mobile, as long as he doesn’t put in a performance like he did against Coventry, I’d have no worries about playing him alongside Jakubiak. As shown by last week against Burton, Jakubiak can’t play on his own up top he needs someone to play through.

Just as long as we don't have a right footed left back, two centre backs who can jump, left and right midfielders who can go past a defender, centre midfield who can make a telling pass and a forward who knows what those white posts with a net between them is we'll be ok.
