I was not talking about Premier football Scottish championship teams record in the cup prove they can beat the so called bigger teams
And what has James Fowler done in the game to be a expert?Look at the England players that said it was better than expected.
Barton player of year in championship could not handle it and the relentless pace caught right out still seals a move back south

He only scored 11 league goals last season. 22 goals overall, but 4 of those were against non-league Lothian Thistle, 2 against Hearts' U20 team and a further 4 against 3rd tier sides. The previous season 16/17 he only scored 1 goal in 22 games in the Scottish Championship. 5 league goals in 50 games for 15/16 and 16/17 seasons. Pish. Jesus, that's brutal. I guess it's not so bad as we got him on a free but he really should have been a very speculative punt as a 4th choice striker, yet he was second only in superiority to Nichols...at least until Payne was signed. Honestly, everyone involved needs to hang their heads in shame in acquiring 4 strikers who look unable to contribute more than 15 goals between them this season. Absolutely pathetic recruitment of the most dismal order. Although what do you expect for a total outlay this summer of £200K(?) on transfer fees? What I can't understand is how poor Payne looks, on Sunday he did zilch, apart from getting a card for running after the ref, before he was subbed after 20(?) mins, surely a player who got 14 goals last season should look half decent/slightly interested in winning the odd header/challenge? I can't see how Dion Moore can be any worse then the present 1st team strikers. |

Such a freindly lot you are,cos five Scots over 100 years is the reason you have never did anything aye okay pal I am only here cos I enjoyed my visit to your City trying to be friendly but you can seethe if you want and scape goat a whole nationality If you want to be friendly talk about the subject your hosts are discussing. Being friendly isn't diverting every conversation onto your own personal pet subject. That's not friendly it's rude. |

Like playing in the top flight for 17 years, winning the Scottish League Cup as captain of Kilmarnock and assisting St Mirren to a Scottish Championship title. I've watched a fair amount of Scottish Prem football and would say overall it is comparable to our League One. |

I know f'all about the scots 2nd tier,just off the top of my head though,players like Frear,Johnson and Moult have gone directly from English National league to Scots premier and done very well.Must be others as well so standard up there must be dubious.

Sure and telling folk what to do is not rude.Ganging up on the outsider.I never knew you were like that thought you were proud about how friendly your meant to be?
Obviously not your strikers are not scoring nothimg to talk about apart from about new targets and free targets cos your skint aparantly
But keep that atitude up you wont get anybody relocating from anywhere to play for you

Did you question the EPL when Vardy and Gray bang goals in there who were non league?
Or the strength of the championship cos Taylor has only 2 goals at City?

There's a specific section for General sport chat - plenty of opportunity to talk about non rovers stuff there. |

I really dont understand why dont you compare your self footballing wise with the Germans or Italians?
Why are you always comparing with a country with same population of Ireland really dont get it
But something goes wrong its the Scottish players faults who the only reason they ended up with you is cos they were finished?

Nichols by far. None of them can score and and Nichols is the only one with any footballing intelligence. We look better with him in the team. Well Payne has scored more than ten times the goals Nichols has in the last 2 years |

Have you watched it though?Ive watched league 1 would hapilly put cash of teams like Partick Th Dundee Utd Ayr United Dunfermline ICT Ross County beating a lot of the teams on your league I watched Aberdeen Hibs the other day. Utterly dreadful game of poor quality. Neither team looked any better than L1 at best. |

Ambroce is a African cup winner you got anybody winning national trophies at your club?
Even up front Hibs spent cash on two good strikers and if they keep scoring will end up playing in league above you Blackburn fans already talking about McLaren returning Ozzy international
