Devlin to just got in Scotland squad
My point is you could get a much better squad up here even out championship but there are good ones in SPL for free
Declan Gallacher Craig Halkett ZIggy Gordon
All playing for wee clubs
Blair Alston to you never know very underated midfielder who has always caused Rangers trouble
And am not even starting on the championship
Lawrence Shanklund Blair Spittall Liam Polworth Sean Kelly a guy that provded Reilly with goals last year
Robbie Crawford Jai Quitongo
If your actually looking to get out the league give them a all

Have you watched it though?Ive watched league 1 would hapilly put cash of teams like Partick Th Dundee Utd Ayr United Dunfermline ICT Ross County beating a lot of the teams on your league The standard of football in the Scottish Premiership is akin to that in England's League One, according to Sunderland assistant James Fowler. The former Kilmarnock midfielder played in the Scottish top flight for 17 years and was number two to Jack Ross at St Mirren in the Championship last term. He is now Ross' deputy at the Stadium of Light in England's third tier. "From what we've seen so far, I'd say League One is similar to the top league in Scotland," Fowler told BBC Sport. Josh Magennis after joining Charlton from Kilmarnock: "I think the overall standard of League One is higher than the Scottish Premiership." “It's a lot more physical but you also have the technical side. It's one of the reasons why I left Kilmarnock - I want to push on with my career.” I’ll give you my boyhood favourite Ian Alexander, I’d have a team full of him now, especially with any Sh:”!he!d winger running at him. Plus that penalty save against Brighton.

None of them are our best first team striker but Nicholls is perhaps the best overall player
The main problem is that the bloke who signed them doesn't have a clue how to replace the strikers that have gone, and he signed all 4 of them

Utterly dreadful game of poor quality. Neither team looked any better than L1 at best.

Fair comments although I do feel you've used statistics in such a way as to reinforce the argument that they're rubbish. I could come back to you and say that Payne scored 14 goals and was top scorer for a team that was 1 game away from promotion in L1 last season. That Jakubiak scored 1 in 3 for a struggling team in a brief loan spell last season in the Scottish Championship (albeit this isn't great I admit, but I did say "reasonable amount of goals" in my original post). That Reilly was top scorer for the Scottish Championship winners last season with 22 goals in all competitions (yes I know is was 11 in the league). That Nichols was Posh's top scorer the season before he joined us, albeit with a ratio of about 1 in 4. Again all these stats, while not world-beating, are certainly better than what they're doing for us right now. I would expect all 4 of them to be capable of getting into double figures for us, which wouldn't be that bad if we could get some of our other players chipping in with some goals too. Payne scored 9 goals from open play in League One last season which is poor. None of our strikers have particularly decent records and I can see with my own eyes that they aren't natural goalscorers. In an ideal world I'd ship them all out and start again. Payne scored more goals than any other shrewsbury player last season. The shrewsbury team you kept banging on about last season remember? I checked jimmy greaves, alan shearer and sergio aguerro's goal records and they clearly have counted all their goals including penalties and free kicks. You always manipulate statistics to suit your point of view and it does you no credit at all.

Payne got 9 goals from open play and 2 penalties. 11 goals. Wow. He also has 16 goals in 100+ appearances in the football league. Those are the facts.

Why are you always talking Scottish football down. When you dont even get it in England? I really dont understand why dont you compare your self footballing wise with the Germans or Italians? Why are you always comparing with a country with same population of Ireland really dont get it But something goes wrong its the Scottish players faults who the only reason they ended up with you is cos they were finished? I think if you went on the "wishlist" thread and made various suggestions about scottish players that would be fine. But turning up on the chris lines thread or the strikers already at the club thread etc is overpowering and makes a mess of the respective threads.
