Making room for Man City B to join League 1? I can't see that happening. Not immediately, or even in the next season or three, but it remains a possibility all the time B teams are encouraged to play in lower league First Team competition by Premier League Managers/Owners, and those at the top of the EFL.

Coventry would be relegated and the team second bottom of League 2 would be given a reprieve. What about the league 1/league 2 pro/rel? Promotion will remain the same, fourth from bottom will be given a reprieve. They'll be eager to sort it ASAP and not end up with a similar situation to Swindon in 1990.

I’d say that there’s a good chance of at least one of the following happening. Coventry not finding a venue within 6 miles of the city centre and being kicked out the EFL, Blackpool being docked 12 points for going into receivership and going below us in the table and Bolton’s winding up petition succeeding, with them facing severe financial difficulties.
I don’t particularly wish such misfortune on any other club as a means of surviving relegation ourselves but I think it’s likely we will be handed a boost to our survival chances, one way or another in the next couple of months.

It’ll be a sad day if they do get kicked out, I would hope if it does go to vote we’ll support them.

Pretty much this. Although things are a bit more pressing for Coventry at the moment.
I'm keeping an eye on Scunthorpe.

Glad you added that bit as I thought your first answer suggested LGE 2 clubs would benefit from it more than LGE 1. Logic would suggest that LGE 1 would see the 21st placed team not relegated.

If Coventry can’t find a venue that meets EFL regulations then what is there to vote about, they simply wouldn’t have the capacity to play in the EFL next season. I hope it doesn’t come to that, the most obvious solutions to this if the Ricoh lease can’t be renegotiated are to ground share with Coventry rugby club or somehow get special dispensation to share with Solihull Moors (who themselves could be a league club next year) or Northampton.

MK Dons must be watering themselves.
Maybe they could play more than 6 miles away and call themselves the "Wherever Skyblues".

Almost certainly it would be allowed. Well, if Twerton reached ground grading. So what is the logic behind saying Coventry can't go to Northampton? EFL allowed it once, under strange circumstances. It was a messy business. They want stability. Dare I even suggest that they've come to the realisation that they don't want teams playing quite a long way from their spiritual home, nor any chance of an MK Dons style franchise again? Made me suddenly think of Brighton playing at Gillingham. Looking back that was a hell of a 'share'.

Damson Park doesn't currently have league grading and would need quite the investment to make it to league grading. Double the 6 mile "allowed" distance and Moors have agreed a lease with BCWFC.

Not today, but we have managed to be in almost every bad situation a club can be in so we might get round to it.
