Yes but they beat Wombles who would been on 42 points if they won ..a draw would have been best, Wombles win second best imho, but we got a vital point and moved another point away, despite losing two places - goodness it's tight! We are also now 6 points ahead of Wimbledon (7 with GD) and a game in hand. Rochdale winning didn’t help as they also have a game in hand but they beat Scunthorpe who remain below us.

Huge goal and a point closer to safety with a lot of results going our way. Think that result shows the spirit GC has instilled in this side, to come back after being behind twice especially with the manner of the 2nd goal speaks volumes. Not a bad days work at all would definitely have taken that before ko. Some harsh comments on Kilgour in this thread, making his full debut at a tough place to go, he'll be better for the experience. Let's not write another of our young players off based on 90 mins, GC obviously rates him let's give the lad a chance. Not sure anybody is writing Kilgour off, he made a mistake which cost us a goal, as did Craig, but both helped to limit Plymouth to very few clear cut chances on a day the rest of the team didn't play well. We really could do with some width but with Rodman still out there's not much GC can do about that unless he reverts back to putting THD on the wing. It was a good point thanks to two well taken goals with JC showing our CM's how to cross a ball into the box.

What was the Premiership Ref like? No comments about him, so I assume OK? Well, according to commentary team, about as much use as a wet fart. Verging on incompetent. I’m sure SteveK’s report will illuminate more on this.

By special request the earliest match day thread ever! I see Roger East a Premier League referee is in charge for this weekends game. Gasheads will be delighted to know Devon's finest, Brett Huxtable is the fourth official! UTG! Start the Donnie one now Bideford ! Mad to see a win will put us in the top half of the table.

Doncaster will be a big test but I see it as a bit of a free hit. Anything there will be a good result. True, but they got spanked at Luton today and we are pretty solid away from home. Nothing to fear but the long journey not ideal I guess. Will Locks be back?

This might just be my personal experience, but any time I've been in Wales I couldn't wait to get out quickly.....even if the destination was Doncaster....

I’m all for giving Kilgour a chance and I always have with Craig too but that doesn’t change the fact that both goals were terrible defensive errors today. Can’t help but think it would of been 3 points today had Giggs not picked our captain and best center half so he could watch his country play from the stands though. Very frustrating and the postponement laws need to be looked at.

Not sure he got a lot wrong TBH, protected Macey more than the usual Div 1 refs would but wasn't blowing up needlessly every few minutes, perhaps that's why we saw 4 goals for a change.

Which makes you think where our real defensive weakness actually lies and perhaps Locks is having a much better season than we are giving him credit for. Craig today was nothing short of awful.

I just thought some of the comments were a bit OTT, he's only going to improve by playing games yes it was a gamble to throw him in today but hopefully one that will benefit us long term

I expect GC had that match watched today (L v D) and will make his plans ready for both. And he’s got most things right so far. Worry about them after the Doncaster game. Let’s get a result there and then beat Luton, someone has to. UTG!

Personally I thought Craig & Kilgour were very good, besides the one slip a piece for each goal. Bonham wasn’t too busy for majority of the match, sure a couple of our lads were below par particularly in midfield but we were well worth the point today. Battling hard till the very end, the true mark of Coughlan’s boys!
Cannot wait to see the JCH thunderbolt & last second scenes on the television tonight, hopefully the away end looks as crazy as it seemed being right in the middle of it.
That’s another point towards safety (call it 4 now with the excellent Goal Diff) anything we take from Donny will be a huge bonus Tuesday night.

Did Kilgour actually have a bad game? I wasn’t there but heard he played well For a young lad thrown in making his first league start without the captain present, he was excellent. Won his tackles, got his blocks in & looked very assured on the ball. Possibly Made a mistake with their first goal, but that aside he performed very well. The reaction at the end from the Gasheads was testament to that.
