Sad to say I have just been informed that Dave passed away this morning. It goes without saying that he was a devoted gashead of many years standing, and will be missed by those of us who knew him. For anyone who may wish to attend the funeral, I will endeavour to put the arrangements on here as soon as I know them.

I first knew Dave through the original Gaslist all those years ago, a really dedicated Gashead. RIP mate

Awful news. No matter how much I got wound up by some of his posts, I would never wish anyone any misfortune. Rest In Peace Dave, fellow Gashead, and my condolences to his family and friends.

sh**. Really sad to hear this. I think I saw him post a while ago that he was in hospital and it really makes you evaluate life.
I might not gave always agreed with his posts but he always wanted the best for the Gas I’m sure, like we all do.
Really sad to know that he won’t be singing goodnight Irene with us in the (hopefully) new stadium under new ownership.
