Teams don't have to play well to beat us and that is a big worry Bolton mid week were probably one of the worse teams we've played in L1 but still managed to snatch a draw, Coventry having outplayed us 3 times already this season probably knew they didn't need to bust a gut to beat us. They'd be keeping themselves fresh for next week's FA cup game. Even Southend are now putting a run together, 1 loss in 5 games and 2 wins out of the last 3 games. Assuming we don't pull off a minor miracle and win an away game the Blackpool game could be decisive as fail to beat them and the next winnable game then looks to be Rochdale in late March!

What worries me ( And we can talk about tactics ) all night. Very average teams like Rochdale Accrinton Wimbledon can actually win matches. We seem both unable and having no confidence to know how. The game v Blackpool will be the 'test' both sides low on confidence and the whipping boys at present !. We have Tranmere soon as well don't we?? Think we need to win atleast 1 of the next 2 games. Good point ! 3 teams who lose every week playing each other.

OC should have been sent off, with a hand to the face of one of theirs (O'Hare, maybe). I missed that one, when was it? There was a couple of standard OC handbags incidents but I didn't see anything card worthy. Maybe I've been desensitised. Well, it wasn't much, but it was technically a red. It was about half way through the second half in front of the fourth official.

On the replay it looked like he caught him with an elbow. Could have been a penalty save a red card. Not sure if it was intentional though, as only saw one angle. Utter nonsense M-L clearly jumped into their big CH when he had no chance of winning the ball, that was clear from iFollow, M-L rolling about on the floor pretending he was injured before getting up w/o having any treatment is the type of thing which does our heads in when Wycombe etc players do it at the Mem. Totally agree. It isn't the referees fault we've scored two league goals since Boxing Day. Better today but still persist with Clarke and Upson who offer zero going forward

How did Barrett do when he came on? Fat and slow held on to it for too long and when he did pass it usually went to Coventry. He was better than olly Clarke though. By which you may mean that he held the ball up well and brought others into play. And as for his physicality, I wish I was that "fat"

He's either gonna fulfil his potential and be a really good creative player or potentially be another Bennett type player flattering to deceive.

Our first win under Garner looks as far away as it always has done since he came in and we had a strong team out today. His substitutions so far have produced no improvement. Our defence often looks frail and he does not seem, on evidence, to have an inspiring influence. If we continue in this vein then it is more than likely that we will be relegated. None of us should be so complacent as to not contemplate such a stark outcome.

The two goals conceded are as frustrating as the free header Tuesday night. The second especially, where firstly THD fails to send the ball up the line & Ed Upson then quite literally allows their winger to stroll past him complete unchallenged. Ed as usual was finished the second he was booked in the 2nd minute.

I'm afraid garner has shown himself totally clueless when it comes to games, he may or may not be a great coach but his matches have been hopeless.
We didnt create a thing second half, the attacking players were so isolated from one another, it's all very well having ideals but you've got to be able to adapt, you've got to mix it up, you've got to just throw the kitchen sink sometimes. For example JCH win innumerable headers but there was no one near him to pick up the ball, garner put Reilly on but the poor guy hardly got a touch, we just continued playing around across the back and down the wings a good forty yards from the danger area.

What does BG say at half-time? If I remember rightly all of our second-half performances under him have been worse than the first. Obviously whatever he says to motivate players or to change tactically doesn't work!

Today’s game was very typical I think of where we are right now psychologically. We started well pressing high up the pitch created lots of problems for Coventry then scored great. Then Coventry put a few moves together and the belief just drained from our players , we stopped pressing lost our confidence Coventry tore in to us. Half time 1-2 down. Half time team talk we’re all hoping we’ll come out second half firing but nothing. Motivation will start you off good but you’ve got to believe in what your doing or you’ll lose motivation as soon as something goes wrong.

Well another stunning performance and wonderful result inspired by our useless manager how much longer do we have to put up with this for Don't worry, it's all going to be great in the end, and it doesn't really matter that we were 4th and are now 13th because it really is going to beautiful one day. Give it a couple of years and Garner will be leading us out at our wonderful new stadium as we play championship football. It really wouldn't of suited us to go up this season anyway; it really is better to trust in the promised evolution.

Well at least I tell the truth and don’t paper over cracks, again you must be a crazy fan to applaud a manager who hasn’t won in 10 games but hey o he’s playing nice passing football and that’s all that matters not the results wake up before we are in real trouble

I think the bigger issue is that he doesn’t change anything, but the opposition works out our tactics/formation What tactics or formation? Why was JCH up top on his own AGAIN! Why do managers not play a simple 4-4-2 and attack teams now a days? Whats with all this 3-2-2-2-1 bolloxs that we seemed to play today? This "great" first 30mins we had was not due to tactics,or our great play but rather just the game playing out as it did.I cant remember any great play by us during that time apart from Rodmans header. In fact it seemed very forced.Even JCH goal seemed to be at first glance a mistake from them. And the 2nd half was awlful.I felt sorry for JCH has he tried his best and was by far the our best player on the field but had no one around him and was helpless at times. We looked powerpuff, weak and clueless. It was only when Barrett came on that we had anyone able to pass the ball forward our looked like creating anything. I really doubt we will win more than another game or two this season if we play like this again. Terrible.
