anyone know when it’s coming out? Coventry just released their list, as most of our signings are from that list ours will probably follow shortly lol. Tbf however, from their list, Hiwula would be a decent signing.

Anyone else feeling a bit ‘meh’ about the retained list and other football related things in general? Ordinarily I would be very interested in the retained list and the news of the training ground but I just feel so far from thinking about football with everything that’s going on. I think it’s largely down to me being sceptical about the return of football to the lower leagues. Football will be fanless for the foreseeable in my opinion and I just can’t see how clubs are going to survive this at our level without taking huge loans out.
What I will say is that up until January, I lived and breathed football since I was old enough to remember. The last 14 weeks have brought a whole new perspective to life and football feels less important. Maybe that will change again once I’m back watching the guys but the thought of watching on ifollow just doesn’t excite me.

On the whole I agree, recent events at home meant I had other things on my mind anyway and the lack of football really didn't bother me. Conversely though, after wondering whether we'd even have a club to support, or at best a fire sale of players and relying on young (cheap!) players from the youth team and development squad, the training ground announcement has rekindled my interest and reaffirmed in my mind, that we will be alright in the end.

Got to say I've lost a lot of interest in football. There's just a lot more important things going on at the moment.

THD, OC, LS and TC - looks like we’ll be losing these guys.

A real shame about THD he was a fabulous player, his injury problems robbed the club of the most talented left back I have seen in sixty years of watching the club.

If he didn't have injury problems, he wouldn't have signed for us in the first place. So it was a gamble, that unfortunately didn't pay off. A bit like Jamie Shore all those years ago.

If he gets a couple of years injury free I expect he'll get a big money move back to the championship, but reasonable that it's not our risk any more.

Real shame as had we been able to keep him for he'd have been the a massive asset. I don't think his release is a major surprise particularly after giving Kelly a new deal. We aren't in a position to have 3 left backs in the squad so either THD or Leahy was likely to be moved on. Good luck to him hope he can get himself fit & playing regularly somewhere.

We are supposed to be interested in a left back from Portsmouth, if this is true then I expect JL to be moved on given that MK has signed for another year.

Just 8 games last season doesn't suggest he can put in 80+ games in the next couple of seasons. With budgets stretched it'll be interesting to see if any other EFL club is prepared to take the risk. It looks like a long list tomorrow: Clarke Craig Nichols Reilly Rodman(?) Sercs THD With possibly others also told to try and find new clubs.

Bristol Post/Live seems to think Upson has another year, if he's off as well then no wonder the players have been giving the impression they'd given up pre lockdown.
