To correct you. I referred wistfully to 1968. When action on the streets was rife, both in Europe and the USA. Even better was the music and umm..."conscious stimulation"...😂😂 To the ANC. You could argue the imprisonment of their leaders, the violent suppression of demonstrators, including shooting them... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharpeville_massacreValidated an armed uprising...of course the vested western powers, especially us, labelled them terrorists, as you have just done (although I suspect you are not fully cognisant of the facts?) and of course now they are in power, by democratic elections. Their leader, during the time of what you defined as terrorist acts, is now of course an international hero. So I wonder how history will treat the current protest leaders. Well that’s why I said, in literal terms. We did similar to the people of Ireland so were the deaths of innocent people who were killed by the IRA in revenge justified? Was that not terrorism? Now that's an invitation...

Why would they? Would they do terrorist things? Plane hi-jackings? Car bombings? Shoot the British Olympic team in Tokyo? Worryingly it sounds like you might still support them even if they did. Don't make it up 365. What did the ANC do to change things in South Africa? I don’t think 365 has made anything up, Oldie. If these rag-tag organisations got together they would, if they wanted to achieve anything, have to start behaving and presenting themselves in a respectable manner. If they continued with their damaging to the economy and wellbeing of the nation by holding their ridiculous demonstrations, and by tearing down statues and defacing war memorials then they would simply get ignored at the ballot box. If they started planting bombs and indiscriminately killing people then they would become terrorists and be treated as such. We all know there is no chance of the first scenario happening, because they haven’t really got any answers to any of the country’s or indeed the worlds problems. All the manipulators using BLM and their ilk as useful idiots are interested in is tearing down capitalism and replacing it with a Marxist state. If you think you’ve got problems and things are unfair now.......

No real response then? It seems the best you can manage is a row of childish pictures. I do respond to serious posts made by people with a considered viewpoint, a viewpoint based upon their interpretation of stats or events. You on the other hand confessed to being on here to "wind up lefties & Remainers", which is rather pathetic. You back this up with juvenile language such as "liebour" Given your user name is Oldgas I presume we are of the same generation. That being the case, if true, can I just say what you post on here is an absolute and total embarrassment to that generation.

Oh dear that perfectly sums up Facebook. Remember someone quoting a Facebook meme as fact on here not long ago regarding George Floyd. Goes to prove people will believe anything that suits their narrative.

I hope not. If players want to do it, it should be an individual choice not forced, otherwise it isn't genuine. Politics should not be brought into football. Absolutely correct. Why on Earth should anyone have to subjugate themselves to a Marxist, terrorist organisation? All lives matter. Equally. "Marxist" is a weird buzzword people seem to throw around as if there aren't various forms of Marxism based off of separate interpretations. It also has zilch to do with the current issue, here's a couple stand-out quotes from another Marxist: "I imagine you already know that I am much more socialistic in my economic theory than capitalistic" "Something is wrong with capitalism...There must be a better distribution of wealth, and maybe America must move toward a democratic socialism." "Why are there forty million poor people in America?...When you ask that question, you begin to question the capitalistic economy." So who is this Marxist terrorist who's support for socialism is clear? Clearly, as he is a Marxist, he cannot have possibly contributed to any positive development to society, he must be a loathed and hated figure across the lands; synonymous with terrorism, so who was it? Oh It was Martin Luther King Jr. And this is the point, Black Lives Matters' demands have almost nothing to do with Marxism itself. The only reason they're called Marxists is because of when I believe the founders referred to themselves as "trained Marxists." Let's ignore the fact that seconds later they made the statement "we don't want to be seen as the vanguard of this movement." Great job boys, Black Lives Matter is a Marxist organisation apparently because the leaders, who don't even simply as leaders, called themselves Marxists; and this automatically discredits the goal and the point of the movement. Truly astonishing claims. As for the "All Lives Matter" rhetoric, of course All Lives Matter; however, they aren't treated as such in modern-day society. There is not equality of opportunity. Also, if All Lives Matter then Black Lives Matter, it's used as some weird talking-point to try and discredit a very specific movement. Because let's get this clear; imagine the claim that a charity that focusses on victims of domestic abuse "why don't they care when I'm beat up in the street, all victims of abuse matter," you'd think they were an idiot. So why is it different now? It's not.

It's not a binary choice. You dont go to cancer fund raiser and shout "all illness matters" do you? Last time I checked Cancer charities weren't trying to defund the Police, looting shops or shouting that white people should give their houses and all possessions to others. come on Hugo! Nice to know that some of your supporters doing illegal things automatically discredits the entire movement, even though you've condemned and not endorsed or encouraged those things. I suppose the Conservative Party will be stepping down now; given that 5,000 of the far-right extremist group Britain First's members joined the Conservative Party in December of last year?

Goes to prove people will believe anything that suits their narrative. I remember when I saw on Facebook the claim that Labour wanted to scrap the age of consent in the last election, thousands of people lapped it up. It's amazing what some people will believe if there's a nice little graphic with a fake quote on it.

Like I said, you vote for & support the conservative regime that keeps the homeless on the streets, despises the poor & underfund public services. Don't play the idiot here. What are the figures for illegal immigration? How many enter the UK per year? Seeing as you sound like an expert, I need facts to make an informed opinion. Lineker is a typical liberal isn't he, in the same boat as conservatives generally. He'll probably just end up making both sides look silly. Hold the front page, Left wing Liberal buries his head in the sand! There was no homelessness in this country when Labour were in power! So let me disabuse you of that nonsense. A very good friend of mine was a Police Officer in Inner city Bristol during war criminal Tony Blair’s pomp. One night duty working out of Trinity Road he had a government official attached to him as the government wanted to assess the number of homeless people in the city. My friend took him around all the rough sleeping locations on the patch and the govt. minister spoke to each person they found. My friend says there were at least a dozen, found in the usual places, stairwells in multi-storey car parks, warm air vent gullies from office blocks etc. This was in one tiny area of the central area. Guess what? Because they all told him they moved on or were moved on in the morning, and went to hostels or whatever where they could get food, or moved to other locations to beg then voila, he was able to officially declare they were not homeless in the true sense of the word, and would therefore record them as such. Overnight, that government official, on behalf of the lying labour government, was able to declare that “homelessness” was not a problem in that area of Bristol. You know, the area of Bristol where WE all know the homeless are the be found. Of course it’s a tragedy and an outrage that there are hopeless, homeless people in this country. It is even more outrageous they are being denied help and comfort because the government has to divert funds to cope with a daily invasion of illegal immigrants, people who have paddled here in dinghies from the socialist utopia of Europe, from the ultra civilised shores of Northern France where they have to live like our homeless people because the F@cking French do nothing to house or feed them, anxious to wave them off in the dinghies they no doubt carelessly leave lying around on the beaches. We see all this on our TV screens and in the media and yet we have half-witted morons standing around with signs saying ‘Migrants welcome’ Well, as we have seen there isn’t actually anywhere for these migrants to be housed, so it is clearly the duty of these welcomers to provide the requisite food and shelter. That prick Lineker has nailed his colours to the mast, although his ‘Migrant’ will probably be a member of Equity. And wherever did you get the ideas Lineker is anything other than a wet Liberal Leftie, with all the sh** he spouts about Brexit? And you want to see stats about illegal immigration? I believe official estimates puts the number of illegals living here at half a million. Half a friggin million, and we see every day there’s several hundred more arriving on liloes along the south coast every day. So, if you are one of those migrants welcome brigade, again, when are you going to take one in? Don't want to ever see you complaining about homeless veterans oldgas, if you care about them then take one in. As for other claims made in your woeful rant, including that somehow the £164.4 million spent on illegal immigrants every year is of course, the only way we could potentially get money to fund and solve the homelessness issue. Cuts to defence, the introduction of taxes coming from say the legalisation of marijuana. The idea that this is a mutually exclusive thing, either you help the immigrants or you help the homeless is WRONG. The London Garden project cost £53 million, we pay for MP's meals; there are many, many ways we could fund more to prevent homelessness. Fear of immigration has been and will always be a red herring; it's been talked about as a crisis for decades, from Enoch Powell to it being a major reason people voted for Brexit. Also many people in Labour hate Tony Blair, although your war criminal point is strange because if Labour hadn't been in power then the Conservatives would have still led us to exactly the same thing. However, things were better under Blair. I'll give you an example, under Blair/Brown from 1997 to 2010; child poverty dropped from 27.5% to 17.5%. Under the Conservatives it is projected to rise from 17.5% in 2010 to 40% in 2022; and that was before COVID, so it could be even higher.
