I'm back again..
Interestingly Wigan are lowest on shots on target and highest for shots on target against. So there is plenty to back up that they are the worst team in our Legaue.
They are -46 and we are -16.
The only other teams lower than us are Burton on - 33 and Shrews on - 19. Which also Interestingly puts us 4th from bottom, exactly what we are and the 3 teams below us on these stats are the teams below us in the table. The next lowest after us is Rochdale and they are 5th from bottom.
So for all BG wanting to play pretty football, at the end of the dya what matters is shots for and against on target (pretty simple really!)
If anyone wants to delve further then look on the link on my OP.

Just had a look at the xG numbers from our first 12 league games & they're pretty damning to say the least! - 23rd/24 in L1 in xG For (excluding penalties, which wildly distort these figures)
- We've created 13 less 'good' chances (0.15+ xG) in these 12 games than we've faced
- We've created 12 less 'big' chances (0.24 xG) in these games than we've faced

Did you have to pay for that mate or is it a free website. xG is something that interests me but haven't found anything decent (havent looked too long either)

The depth of stats they produce after each round of games is incredible, tbf.

Put simply, we are a timid attacking force.
We don't create many chances, we don't have a lot of shots, we miss most opporunities and score very few goals.
Did I miss anything?

We have only had 26 shots on target MORE against us than we have for us.
10 teams have had less shots on target against us. That is a vast improvement on early season.

Today, v Doncaster Rovers (h).... 16 shots. 8 on target. 2 goals.
I thought Doncaster's goalie had a good game. That's very decent attacking stats.

Does anyone remember derby v City New Years Day 1987.
City had about 30 shots, about 15 on target, hit the woodwork a few times, Timmy Carter was inspired and in modern football we would probably be down to 9 men after 20 minutes due to "professional" fouls.
Due to Timmy's injury Boris was in goal for 10 mins as we battled on with 10 men.
We probably had 4 shots of which only 2 on target.
Result City 0 Rovers 1 (part timer Gary Smart 87 mins).
Stats don't win games.
I would happily settled for a 1-0 away win like NY day 87 if we got 3pts v Northampton next week. Mind you my heart (or my bladder) is not so strong now!
