Sorry I forgot that Ben is responsible for the training ground Wael has paid for, youth setup that Chris Hargreaves has been assembling for years. I also forgot about all the points that Ben managed to Garner before he was even appointed that saved us from relegation despite the form since 26th December. We must thank Ben for all of the positive off the field things he has been doing, plus also our fantastic on the field results too. Nothing to do with him...... and how many years you’ve been supporting Rovers has nothing to do with it. You’ll have another relegation to add to your remember list come next May if the board doesn’t act soon though We've only been relegated six times—in 1961–62, 1980–81, 1992–93, 2000–01, 2010–11. So back to back relegations would really be something. It is really easy to stir things up after 3 games of the season, please try to put things in perspective, rather than thinking the sky is falling in after playing Ipswich, Sunderland and Doncaster with a new team of players. Doesn't our relegation to the National League in 2013-14 count then?

Tisdale has managed two seasons at this level, the first ended in relegation with Exeter and the second when he was sacked at MK Dons in 21st place having lost 8 out of his last 9 games in charge, scoring only 1 goal in that run of results. Let's not forget where Exeter were when he took over there. A national league side. In fact he's had promotions with every club he's been at. I don't believe you suddenly become a bad manager in the league above. For whatever reason it hasn't worked out in L1. I was actua ally aware of that poor run at MK and reading back to it, he had a lot of injuries at that time and it's easy to look at a start like that and say he's not good enough. He still had a decent overall record at MK. The main reason I say he could be a good choice is that Exeter had a good youth set up and record of bringing players through who have ended up going on for a lot more money. He also likes to play football on the floor. With the players that Garner has brought in, we can't suddenly expect to bring in someone who wants to play a more physical game. Then his obvious local connections to the area too. Also interesting how he believes he helped Watkins with his game. And Watkins thanks him a lot for helping his career. The commentators kept mentioning Brentford the other day but let's not forget it was at Exeter under Tisdale where he really started to shine. Tisdale said he converted him from a winger to a striker. I wouldn't write him off. Whereas they were at first trading as BCFC 1982 Ltd they now display some spurious date from the 1890's on their club badge, so I don't think a little amnesia about 13-14 is anything much to bother about!

Like his philosophy of ‘don’t lose the next game, do whatever it takes to not lose the next game’ If Garner does go, I’d be in favour of having him in.
