All very good and well, but you still haven't answered my question though? Nothing is ever won after 7 matches. I agree with the holistic view on THIS season's view only, but it's not a coincidence that our recent form has been due to the inclusion of starting 2 strikers and playing them as such (because when we reverted to one through 2 poor sub choices, which I think is BG favoured stance v Burton, we conceded), and effective wing backs (something I was struggling with Little inclusion over Hare despite Little poor form) so it's easy to post something like this with hindsight, but I was referring to what I had seen as evidence with my own eyes. Fair play we look more balanced, and entertaining going forward. I still say we are defensively fragile and are one striker injury away from impotency (I still think we need an experienced striker)..... something GC had wrapped up early in his tenure. But....to cap it off, I am more than happy to move closer to your deluded stance if the evidence continues to suggests this. As ever we'll see, but for 10/12 points in an unbeaten run of 4 matches, well done BG and his team... I re-read your post and am lost on the point you make; are saying you are happy with two strikers now they are both scoring goals but want cover for them? Or that you want a straightforward proven goal scorer to replace JCH. Even more confused by what you mean by my deluded stance. Garner has no doubt looked for a striker that fits his model, with the money made available he can’t find anyone, so I guess he thinks he has cover in Ayunga and possibly Oztumer, Barret, Rodman, Mitchell Lawson or Nicholson. You could argue that he doesn’t know what he is doing and what if there is an injury, in that case we could blame Garner and call for him to be sacked, in the same way Liverpool fans will be calling for Klop to be sacked for starting the season with only three centre halves and not predicting that his no 1 centre half might get injured. Truth is only 6 months ago BRFC were broke, since then the world has gone into recession and clubs are haemorrhaging money. Wael despite taking a year of abuse from a bunch of muppets, stumped up his cash paid of the debts and started to deliver on his promise of evolution not revolution. Building a club for the future including building the training ground he promised. We sold a striker and made a pretty penny we have kept the money perhaps to cover loss of income and to keep us in the black going forward. If Garner had identified the striker, he wanted then Wael I suspect would back him. But why throw money away on a striker that the manager feels won’t be good enough. I wonder if you were clamouring at the time to sign Payne or in fact just to sign anyone. Yes we need to strengthen with the right striker but the sky isn’t going to fall in if we haven’t found the right one in fact if we have two strikers capable of getting 12-15 goals a season and a midfield with plenty of talent then are we no longer the same one trick pony as we were under GC. Well I did try. I'll ask again. Your post suggested to give one whole season. Even if that full season leads to relegation? I know you think it won't lead to it, but entertain the notion...

Although you'll get those folks stating "I'm not fickle, I just change my mind when the wind changes direction".

I voted for 8 more games in the op, as I thought that was about right at the time. Let’s hope we continue to improve as I am actually enjoying watching the games now, something which I couldn’t say under Mr Cockring.

But then you have posters who *demand* that people be fickle! ie "We've won 3 games and you STILL won't admit Garner is god!" etc etc.

Utg Your post has arbitrary picked up a convo mid thread without considering context. Please take a step back Full stop Don't you think it's time just to move on, it's not looking like you're going to get your wish from a couple of weeks ago that BG was going to be sacked. I can never understand why some posters just to seem to want managers to fail, why can't you just enjoy us winning games and forget all about this thread.

Hopefully a few of them can feel embarrassed now looking back. I remember being ridiculed in the Ipswich game for being a rose tinter and a moderator actually being smug that we’d lost, embarrassing.

Fails to take anything into consideration apart from the poster's own narrow viewpoint. If the poster spent a miniscule of time, on this and other threads my posts validate and celebrate our wins and good points just as much as when not. My posts aim to be objective. The laziness in the posting refers to a previous poster earlier in thread, that made some really good points, but chose to wait and reply to my post after 4 weeks....when the question I asked was very valid, and still is and still remains unanswered! Keep up, dear chap(ess)..
