Shameful that our Government is falling short in this way when they choose to put thousands of illegal economic migrants up in 4 star hotels around the country well fed with almost £40 per week spending money, paid for by us the Taxpayer. The vast majority of these illegals are men generally between the age of 18 to 26. Our own people should be fed first.

Again, please don't make this political. If you do, people will be less likely to donate as the thread disintegrates in to an inevitable hellscape.
Donate or don't.

There are many many reasons to be critical of the Government and its policies but this isn’t one of them. Why? Because it’s not even true.

If they are genuine asylum seekers why have they not claimed that right in France ? The last time I checked France was and still is a safe country.

Because you can seek asylum anywhere. France take more asylum seekers than us, as do Greece and many others. They dont all come flooding here contrary to popular belief

That I believe is correct under an EU law known as The Dublin Regulation.

Seriously I've asked twice nicely now. Please show some respect to the nature of the thread (our community in need) and take your politics elsewhere.

But one thing that is patently clear from the FOI tuff that has been admitted of late is that the government have spent billions on ineffective test and trace and PPE (with links to their mates) whilst the citizens that they should be looking after are turning to food banks in crazy numbers. All that money siphoned out of the public purse to...where? Imagine the good it *could* have done at a grass roots level. That is why, to me, whilst I agree with the high level concept of feckless parents having kids they can’t afford, it is scandalous that we make the kids victims of their parents decisions and have a vote to feed these kids voted down considering the billions watered away on the aforementioned contracts. The bill for feeding these kids would be a pittance by comparison. Meanwhile these same people voting the motion down are able to avail themselves of quality steak every day subsidised by the tax payer. Can anyone justify that? I’m much rather my tax went towards feeding kids than pigs with their noses in the trough.

It’s the fault of a system that allows feckless people to have kids, safe in the knowledge they will be given benefits which they are free to spend on whatever they like, with no compulsion to look after their children first. I just can’t understand how anyone could indulge themselves without first seeing their children were properly fed. I also agree with your thoughts on subsidised H of C restaurants. What I find even more incredible is that you don’t hear of one single Labour, Lib Dem or SNP politician refusing to avail themselves of the concession, or agitating for it to be removed. In exactly the same way as you never hear the bastards refuse their annual pay rise or pay into their pension scheme. And that, for a Socialist, is astounding Do as I say behaviour.

Mate, seriously don’t bother. The Guardian and other Left Wing rags are their bible and if you disagree they will hound and harangue you into submission in tried and trusted Left Wing fashion. Better just to let the usual 4 or 5 Marxists rant about perceived inequalities and “it’s not fair-isms, someone’s got more than me” amongst themselves. That seems to make them happy as they go round and round and round on their Socialist carousel. Its better just to stick to the football. Fortunately a love of The Gas surmounts all barriers.

I do not suppose they have a problem with BRFC currently being heavily propped up by their enemy i.e. Wael - a Capitalist. If in the future we become successful, will anyone begrudge Wael a decent return on his capital for the high degree of risk he has chosen?

Good God they’d hate Wael making any money and would demand he spent all his profit building houses for the next arrivals from France via pedalo. They’d like to be able to run the club on a fan-owned basis, but the inhabitants of Marxist Corner haven’t got a pot to water in as a result of their generosity towards the disadvantaged. In short, they’ve given all their worldly wealth away to others because they felt too ashamed at having more than others.

I well remember that smug Labour woman, can’t remember her name, praising immigrants as heroes for sending their benefit money back to their relatives in the 3rd world. So that was money given to be spent here, sent abroad for the benefit of corrupt banana republic regimes. Labour are unbelievably stupid.
