Just read on the Rovers supporters website that this initiative today has raised £16000 for the North Bristol food bank, well done gasheads. I'd like to say thank you Gas-Heads and extended, as I have been the beneficiary of several food bank parcels after losing a whole summer of work. And I'd like to put on record the difference it makes. When you've been eating bread and cereal and have a delivery like pasta and sauce, to actually taste something in such a long time, hoensty, I have no shame in saying it brings a tear to your eye. At least, it did mine. Many a tale on that front that I'll save for the Health Chat thread, but again Thank you Gas-Heads. You've got a man through very hard times 🙏 This

Anybody that was planing on spending £10 to watch tomorrow's game i urge you to donate it here instead. Don't think its worth £10? I get it, we give so much to charity and "chuggers" Meet me half way, donate £5, you get to keep £5, plus you can sleep tonight knowing you did something amazing for just £5 what can you buy with £5? but it could mean a child doesn't go to bed hungry

I'm in a much better place now, on my way to even better, and once this chapter has been written I'll be in a better place to recite it back! I'm in a place where I'm buying extra on my food shop and returning the favour back to the foodparcel recepticles at the supermarket now 😎 and that's the kind of hope that means the most to me, getting past that, and knowing that a bit of food and understanding can get people through a few hard weeks, and how much of a springboard a small helping hand turns into a large leg up! 🙏💜 Too true, big difference between a hand out and a leg up.

Tender donated from Madrid. Great cause and the website they use seems to give them the most of our donations. UTG

Such a shame that we even have to do this. It’s is. But unfortunately the majority of the voting public voted in a bunch of vile money grabbing bastards to run this country. Remember next time you vote folks.

Remember next time you vote folks. Whilst I fully agree with Baggins, but food banks were around way before our current Government. So don't think it's just been a problem under the Tories. Wasn't the UK's largest food bank opened under Labour?

Guys please back on topic. Donate to the scheme or don't. Please don't let this turn in to another political thread. Its not necessary for this thread which is a good community deed for those in crisis. Plenty of space to play on general chat.
(I am not a mod here. I post as a concerned user)

Even though I have a season pass so I don’t have to pay £10 per game on iFollow, I’ve still made a donation today for such an important cause.
