Hey aren't you the guy who slammed JCH so vilely after he missed a penalty at Portsmouth ... You have zero credibility and probably have a poster of Simeone in your bedsit ... Shush your nonsense! Yeah I am. Because we were in a relegation dogfight and he balooned a Penalty 20 yards over the bar. As above things are said and done in the heat of the moment. I apoligised for my outburst and JCH was a brilliant player for us. I don't give a rat's arse whether you think I've got credibility. Just as well as you have NONE!! Probably best to spend this evening working on your spelling ... only kidding on all of it Mate ... Everyone is entitled to their opinion i'm only pulling your leg on the JCH moment - I was less than impressed at the time as well, as for Maradona again everyone has a view.

It was a great tribute by Gary L and was obviously heartfelt esp as he knew Maradona. When it’s a football programme I guess Gary was talking about his football, nothing else, which is understandable. Football people will talk about him as a footballer.
The rest of us perhaps take a wider view. Me, I understand albaron because I’ve worked, lived in the normal world and when I’ve seen cheating I don’t like it either. Once you cheat it makes the second time much easier. In the real world, cheating breaks the feeling of trust between people and it can destroy relationships in some cases depending on the level. I’m not sure what makes football any difference that the real world but I get it that it seems to have different values sometimes.
When you see the feelings in Argentina you just have to realise that people all over the world see things differently. For them he is a hero and that perhaps is the main thing, a local hero who shone on the international stage. As ever, whilst I tend to see things as black and white / right and wrong there are usually many shades of grey in between which I have to make myself see. But this is a football forum and it’s why we concentrate on the football side and he was truly great footballer.
UTG!
