The Club has advised the EFL it is unable to fulfil the fixtures due to an outbreak of Covid-19, with players and first-team staff required to self-isolate in line with EFL and Government guidance. As a result, the upcoming fixtures with Charlton Athletic and Oxford United scheduled to take place tonight and on Saturday 19th December respectively, have been suspended and the circumstances surrounding the postponements will now be the subject of an investigation in accordance with EFL Regulations. Revised dates for the rearranged fixtures will be confirmed in due course.

I hope everyone that has COVID at the club makes a swift recovery, it’s a nasty virus.
Shame that tonight’s game isn’t going ahead, but with all the games we’ve played recently a break might give the squad to recharge it’s energy and get the likes of Jaakkola and Oztumer back from injury.

I bet PT will welcome the break Why? Doubt we’ll be able to train True but isolation is only 10 days now isn't it?? Doubt we were doing much training, with all the matches anyway. Hopefully they won't lose that much fitness in ten days. He can still do tactical sessions on zoom etc. Bad timing, when we finally start winning. But on the other hand, we are now likely to have Anssi back when we next play. Hopefully the player's have some excercise equipment where they live, as they can't even leave for excercise. |

Bad news, but sadly only a matter of time with things as they are.
