We did look a bit vulnerable still at the back as their commentators liked to remind us. More so through the center, balls got played through to easily too often.
Midfield, generally quite good, thought we looked much better with Ozzy and Nicholson in the team. Grant must continue to perform for me, best performance for us, need to see more of the same. Ogogo played his usual game which I was you want to see, someone running around, putting their foot in.
Hanlon is doing all he can within his ability and had a decent game, still would like to think we were out looking for a good experienced player that still wants to be playing often. Must be a few of them on the bench or reserves in league above.

"Just goes to show, if you can attack more you defend less". Confucious 24 BC He was dead long before then. Yes, but this is his Great Great Grandson

It's a farce that our most efficient CM has been on loan to a conference side for half the season. Another BG f**k up amongst many. can you elaborate on “efficient” GGMI? Efficient was used with deliberation. As technically he is not the best but he has budnles of energy, he's hard working, committed, his enthusiasm is contagious (like Sincs), he's strong in the tackle, can press, break up play, consistent performer, competent on the ball. The team has performed much better when he has been in the side.

I can see the appeal of Ogogo as the effort is there, and we all love effort, showing pride and playing for the badge, the tackles, ground covered, yellow card!, but we can’t have just Ogogos in midfield, we need that creative spark, that eye for a pass, dead ball delivery, driving runs with the ball. Other players come in for criticism because they don’t do the Ogogo stuff well. But they do the other stuff, sometimes well sometimes not so well and that inconsistency is why they are with us and not playing in the championship. So to my point, surely for Ogogo to be our most efficient or best midfielder he needs to show more than just blood and thunder?

If he's got limitations then how can he show something he's not capable of doing, he's an L1 standard Sincs, that's all we really need this season, it's up to PT whether he offer him another contract for next season, or looks to bring in better options.

Regardless of player shortfalls (and there are many) this was a great result. Nobody expected anything from this fixture and a clean sheet too.

I think nobody expected a result with Oz and Nicholson not due to play....however that is our strongest 11 (anssi aside). With our strongest 11 it is still a good result but we should be looking at that sort of application and attitude as standard. The amount of chances they had worries me as on another day they could have had 2 or 3

Going forward If we use last night performance as a benchmark in playing for the shirt & stay relatively injury free we shouldn’t have any problems regarding relegation this season.

Not until we put in another MK Dons or Oxford performance, like last season v Sunderland, on our day we can match anybody in the division, it's when we have an off day which is the problem.
I bet PT hasn't a clue which team will decide to turn up V Rochdale.
