Although the sending off changed the game I think that there was not enough action taken to reorganise. We seemed to stick with the same players and the goal came from the side that had been weekened by the sending of. Agree Should have reorganised straight away. Westbrook as an example was completely ineffectual after the sending off and goal as a defender let alone an attacker. In fact most of our attackers became non existent? So we should have battened down for the point maybe?

Typical kind of response I expected from you, when you can't admit you too have told people to F off. Stop being so precious. 😊

I can’t see us staying up ... we have seriously under performed against the worst sides in the division and without a true goal threat we have little to offer. I only hope now that JB and his team stay with us next year in L2 and help us try and get out of it. Sadly I think we are stuck with most of these under performing players for another season at least and that will mean mid L2 at best. Underperforming or just not good enough?

Once again 'a series of unfortunate events' has cost us points, fate seems to conspire against us at the moment but as i said before we will not be relegated after this defeat, these things tend to even out eventually and i am convinced we are showing enough fight and determination to ensure our survival, a couple around us have are having a purple patch at the moment but has it come at the wrong time? I remember Plymouth being adrift at the bottom a couple of years ago before they went on a fantastic run which took them up the table promptly followed by an appalling run which put them back in trouble and eventual relegation. The thing with us is that we are by no means cast adrift at the bottom and we will have our 'run' at the right time , picking up points when least expected, up the Rovers!

Sadly I have to admit that relegation is more likely than not. After saturdays display for 90 minutes against Shrewsbury I was hopeful of at least a point last night but once again our inability to score when we are on top has cost us dear.We all know the reasons for this so I wont go over old ground on this point. I think from JBs post match reaction he is also realising that no matter how much he tries to build the confidence of the team and improve the tactics, which in fairness he has done,we just cannot put away our chances. There is obviously time to turn things around but the question must be are these players good enough to do it?.I think not.

Its not even a case of not scoring when on top, we just aren't scoring at all. Big mistake going into the season with so little experience up front, and another big one not rectifying it in January. I think the current bottom 3 will go down, but have doubts whether we can stay above Wimbledon or claw back another team above us. For me it's more hope than expectation that we will survive now unfortunately. Still plenty to play for pointswise, but we have all the ingredients for a relegation team.

I think most ref might just have warned LM for that first booking and most ref would have not have booked him for that kicking (well more tapping) away of the ball. The ref certainly did us no favours and we don't seem to have got the rub of the green from refs this year.
That said the game should have been wrapped up in the first half with 3 or 4 good opportunities not taken plus a couple in the second half.
We are certainly playing better under JB and creating opportunities but just cannot put the ball away to take pressure off ourselves.
The team is playing well enough to stay up but without goals it's going to be difficult.

I think maybe there is too much pressure put on Hanlon, it seems much of the time he is our main goal threat. At one point we looked so dangerous from set pieces, scoring a few along the way. Now we are a bit of a one track pony. We need to find goals from around our team. That game last night was crying out for someone just to make a yard of space a really hit a shot. When was the last time we scored from outside of the box?

In each of the games under JB we have been the better team and created by far the better chances. This bodes well with each day that the Manager and his coaches are involved. make no mistake we have a very difficult fixture list but if we do stay up then JB would have do0ne a fantastic job because the blame lies firmly with Garner and Tisdale. Garner for the lack of attacking summer signings and Tisdale for total failure in the January window.Personally if Ledley is any where near match fit I would sign him to replace McCormick on Saturday and surely somewhere there is an out of Contract striker who can come in but if not I would start with Ayunga and Hanlan up front together. Whatever happens this season I would keep Barton and his coaches. They could be the best thing that has happened to this club in years.

Definitely one of the more positive posts, the last 3 games we have been the better side & have made 2 of the inform teams (Shrewsbury & Burton) look second best & ordinary. Unfortunately we have paid the price of not converting our chances & petulance of 2 inexperienced players, Ayunga needless push resulting in the free kick which led to the Wigan winner & McCormicks sending off last night. But where I had no faith in Garner or Tisdale in securing our safety, I still feel under JB there is a lot of football left & all to play for.

I thought targets were approached and we got rebuffed and secondly Mr Widderington has a book full of targets two or three windows ahead so I don’t get where you are coming from. The total blame is from the top, can’t be bothered going over old ground again. But we will stay up.
