He plays as though he is made of paper. Pathetic excuse for a defender,along with the rest of his cronies. How many truly decent goals have we let in this season? The answer is,very few, most of them have been down to Rubbish defenders. That’s like a ringing endorsement from you T bone! You rate him then? Not just,as I said. Its down to all of them. When do we ever have decent goals scored against us?. Not one of the defenders in this dreadful squad are anywhere near good enough at their job. |

Ignoring his injury concerns he was a decent defender for us, not sure why his ability, rather than his fitness, is being questioned. Although like Craig, why didn't we sign a decent replacement rather than go for the cheaper/younger option in Baldwin. On paper, Baldwin sounded a decent signing. 27 years old, 200 plus appearances and bought by Posh for £1/2m before being sold on to Sunderland. On paper he'd been a flop at Sunderland and farmed out to Salford last season, where I think he spent some time on the bench. Even just having a look online set alarm bells ringing, it makes you wonder if TW even bothered to have him watched. Likewise watch Ehmer v JCH in the match highlights last season, he made him look a poor defender, which is just what he's turned out to be. Unless TW is just left sorting out players contracts etc next summer then I wouldn't let him anywhere near recruitment/scouting, as he hasn't got a clue. |

Georgie Tommy had tried to sign Baldwin a few times previously at other clubs, think it’s fair to say he’d seen him play plenty of times. |

Seen a couple of posts about ‘had we scored a 2nd’. Unless I remember differently Upsons our of the blue shot was the only real chance we had after scoring I believe? Whilst we were comfortable, we weren’t exactly pushing or knocking the door down for a 2nd goal IMO. Overall a draw was a fair result, no one deserved to win that tbh. I do like Joey and think he’s the right man for us long term, but today his tactics were completely off. We do not have the skill or capability in that team to play counter attacking football. We set up very negatively overall and every chance we had ended up being a hoof for someone to run onto. Ironically though, our games against midtable teams instead of relegation rivals could work in our favour though. Just need to hope the others drop point with their games in hand. Walker is our quickest forward if we were going to play counter attacking then I don’t know why he didn’t start him. |
