Clarke was obviously in charge at the end of the season, BUT in charge of a bunch of feckless useless barstewards who clearly weren't interested in playing for our club, in now way culpable for what happened. I will not deny the players were not good enough, and some of them did not seem interested, but as I said it was Clarke that got us in to this league, we were not in a relegation position when he took the job but were when the season finished. It was his fault.John Ward was not here so can not be blamed. So if the players weren't good enough and some(I would argue all) weren't interested, who brought those players in? And who managed them for 38 games of the season? Therefore being fully culpable for everything that happened. Edit : sorry forgot to say IMO

Agree, dropped by Gibralter for a bin man. Wheres Martin and Harrison? Happy to be second but if clubs win games in hand we will be 8th.

We all know thats true factually, do you think Ward would have kept us up? TBH I would rather watch DC's team in the Conference than Wards utterly boring team in the Football League. A team with no discipline and no interest coupled with boring tactics and a losing mentality.

Letting go is part of the healing process, by all means try alcohol, drugs & corporal punishment first Form an orderly queue... I'm keen to form a dis-orderly queue

Not sure we've really made any progress since last season away from home, as we still seem incapable of scoring. Our defence being put together by previous managers.
It's looking more likely each week that unless Barnet blow it a Play Off is looking our best hope.

DC showed us nothing last season but has made big changes to how we operate this season and we are starting to see improvements. Some of his signings have been good but others woeful but he has been clever in giving low paid short contracts so he can make changes during the season.

And to win via playoffs you have to score and win. It's a habit we have to discover or our league position is irrelevant

Ok fair enough, we didn't win. But we must be the only fans in the world to still be unhappy when we've moved up a place in the table.. and if (for arguments sake) everyone played and won their games in hand tomorrow we'd be 7th. It's two points dropped (again) against a poor side (again) because we couldn't score (again). Here more weeks than not with similar problems more weeks than not...

Will Hartlepool come in for DC again this week? If they I'm not to sure Id be too disappointed as DC seems to have run out of ideas away from home,.

It's a habit we have to discover or our league position is irrelevant But what you have to understand is that teams set up to defend against us because a point against us is good. That means sh*t all in the play-offs! Do you really think someone like Macclesfield would put men behind the ball if they'd lost 2-0 at home to us?

He's on the radio now and sounds as flat as a pancake. Very uninspiring. Before the season I would have happily seen GJ on board but would now prefer to stick with DC
