Not really going to plan for him is it? Certainly isn't. I see there are reports of Russian generals being killed. The fact they are so close to the front line is an indication of how badly things have panned out. Casualties on both sides must be awful and totally avoidable. The Moldovan ambassador at the UN called for Russian forces to withdrawal from Moldova, that won't go down well. |

Agreed. The latest I've been able to see is something like 3m have fled Ukraine or are refugees within, Ukraine say they have lost 1,300 soldiers so far. Russia admitted to 700 or so a while back but no longer acknowledge deaths, the US estimate 7,000 Russians killed with 2 or 3 times that wounded. Europe will not be the same after this as this is causing all sorts of ramifications. Apparently Lavrov was en route to Beijing and returned mid flight and there may be something going on, possibly infighting, within the FSB and other security services. |
