Personally I doubt it as we continue our need and fix to have Russian oil/gas. |

Let’s not also forget the horrendous crimes that the Ustashe committed on Serbs during WW2 (even the Nazis told them to calm down abit) being one of the main factors on why the war happened. |

They really have no idea, because they only know what they were told on the UK news back then. Let’s not also forget the horrendous crimes that the Ustashe committed on Serbs during WW2 (even the Nazis told them to calm down abit) being one of the main factors on why the war happened. Austria-hungary empire treated the Serbs like vermin prior to that and did absolutely horrendous things to them. Slav is even the origin of the word slave, from medieval times. |

[Edit to add, the reputation of the Russian army, Chechens and the Wagner group preceeds them too] reports are true then they are mostly conscripts who were told they were on exercise then sent to liberate who they see as family from Nazis (I saw a tweet earlier showing babies' booties with swastikas on them so the propaganda is still going on). Even junior officers in the Russian army will have very little understanding of what is going on. This is what happens when an army becomes indoctrinated to believe they are fighting Nazis, lose discipline and see their friends killed in ways we don't want to know about. As far as they see it, anyone not on their side is a Nazi and therefore....well, we can see for ourselves. What this does mean is that those returning to Russia and the Ukrainians finding these scenes will have big issues with PTSD in time with the problems that will cause, and that the Ukrainians may well feel a desire for revenge. By the way, whatever happened to those bio-labs? |

These things have consequences, intended or not. "Ukrainian staff at Chernobyl say they counted 10,000 Russian vehicles leaving Ukraine through Chernobyl in the last five days of the war. They fear the vehicles could have picked up contaminated soil excavated by the soldiers and carried it into Belarus. It could also have been dispersed into Ukraine earlier in the war. They are also worried about landmines laid by the Russians and one Ukrainian has already been killed by them as well as a number of wild animals.
