If you've got a spare 90 minutes you could always watch the entire game for free today on ifollow. Thanks - yeah I watched it all yesterday, I just didn't appreciate at the time with all the emotions going on how much he had to do and how well he took that goal. Can't stop watching it. What with many posts saying we desperately need a No. 9, he really could be it. Size, pace, get the heading sorted the bloke has everything we want.

Just checked it out, Vale commentary unfortunately. Although its great to hear how deflated they were when Lofty settles it

He scored against a tired Port Vale defence. He did what he had to do well but let's not go overboard. Hope he can keep it up. On a side note, I was listening to the Port Vale commentary during the game and they said how they wanted to sign Loft but it would have broken their wage structure so decided against it. Also sounded like he has a record of scoring against them.

Apart from make himself available, put a sprint on, take a pass, control it and slot it in over an on-coming keeper to ensure 3 points. Have a word with yourself.

Whatever your opinion of him that's a very good finish.

Funny the number of players, including at top level, who manage to cock it up.

Joey League Two manager of the week 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 and look at these Vale comments 👍🏾 Four FGR players in that team??? None of ours winning away 3-1 at the team in 3rd that had jut won 5 or 6 on the spin?

I think that will do his confidence the world of good, we might not see the best of him until next season but he has all the attributes to be a real threat

Some proper whinging belters on the Vale forum mind. I wanted them to go up as well because of Darrell, but now think id rather see them suffer in L2 a bit longer.

No doubt he took it very well unlike the likes of Nicholson, Collins etc etc who have missed several chances between them when put through in the same way this season. The difference was he skillfully dinked it over the keeper and they tried to drive it straight through the keepers body.

Unless that's for Friday's win I guess? But I'm assuming it was including yesterday's - but it's a fair point and I could be wrong

The mindset of these players is a totally different one from last season. I think this 11 plus subs would be ok in League 1 or at least perform better than those last season. But I know JB will look to improve in a higher league. Watching it yesterday I thought how most of our players kept a distance from the ref and Coutts as captain did the talking. He was in the refs ear but it was effective. We had 6 bookings from only 7 fouls according to the BBC website. Against 16 PV fouls and 3 yellows. They just didn’t like having it done to them. And I suspect like you I’ve seen enough football to know that it’s the result that causes most reaction on a forum. Had they won it would have been different from them. On this occasion we won so..... Onto FGR now and I presume a day less to train and set up for this match. Attacking again and prepare to play on the front foot, get the players to recover and go again. Don’t think any further ahead than the next match. UTG! We had 6 bookings yesterday? Don't remember half of them (mind you I'd been on the cider all day so can't remember much). Same as that 😄. I’m going to sit down with a bottle of red tonight and watch it again. Who are Liverpool and Manchester United anyway. Never heard of em.

It was well taken but in a one on one the striker is favourite and should score. Very pleased he’s off the mark because he hasn’t looked good since signing. Hopefully he’ll kick on now. I’d still start with Collins Saturday though.
