I've had my 3 month check-up and heard the magic words "NO CANCER". Check ups every 3 months for the first two years, after which the chances of the cancer returning begin to diminish, so checks will be at longer intervals. I know that I'm so lucky, given the original prognosis, and very grateful for all the positivity from so many people, which spurred me on to fight this awful disease. UTG  |

I remember those magic words when said to me. 3 month check ups then 4 monthly, 6 monthly and eventually annually until being signed off cancer free. Keep fighting and you'll get there.
