Where have the 3000 spaces gone? 12,010 against WBA in FA cup wasn’t it? We need a new ground. Agreed, we need to see a future where we can finally dream of having a stadium to be proud of I don’t know why but I’m confident of some news this month. Need to keep this feel good momentum going, and a new stadium would definitely do that. I’m 50 now and will need that seat soon, standing is great but my knees hurt after 90 minutes. Young man’s game that. Be great if we could incorporate safe standing. UTG

Redeveloping in an area where other pubs will minimise the clubs earnings is exactly the opposite of a financially viable option, and the specific reason the Mem isn’t sustainable or appropriate. The cost of the stadium needs to be funded and maintained by the daily, weekly, monthly operating of the stadium and associated structures. Leicesters King Power Stadium is used for more conferences than football matches, and Ashton Gate (excuse my language) has concerts, graduations, conferences, etc all the time. It’s not about just building a stadium for football anymore, and construction costs increasing have only added to that.

If we could knock down the East stand and build a massive stand down that side with function rooms and massive pub etc then that could solve many of our problems but I don’t know if it’s viable.

I've heard from a reliable source that there's around 4,000 locked outside already.

From the information I can find the following reductions in capacity have taken place: North Terrace 3,710 to 3,085. Family Terrace 721 to 618. Away Terrace 933 to 727. East Terrace 2,327 to 1,487. So the above totals 1,774. We have reduced from a peak of just over 12,000 to 9,800, a difference of 2,200. Segregation has probably increased as well.

Pete has said on Twitter that they’re working on it… essentially the Thatchers has sold out for FGR now, so they can’t sell additional ST’s, but would guess they’re looking into how they could sort it for a one-off ticket in East / West terrace for FGR, and rest in Thatchers for those looking to still get ST’s

I’m going in with the Vegans, at least they’re not going to run out of burnt sausage rolls. If I catch any of you specimens gesticulating at me , you are for it 👊

Forest Green Rovers match is NOT sold out.
There are 300 standing tickets in two separate areas still available.
In addition, more tickets are going on sale once the AWAY fans total allocation is agreed and sorted.
This allocation will be dependent upon the timing of ticket sales by FGR. Judging by last season's behaviour by FGR this might force the extra allocation to be somewhat later than desirable.
They are entitled to 10% of total capacity, of which at least 100 must be seated.

Can’t see a massive turn out from FGR, they couldn’t even sell out against us last season which was ultimately the biggest game in their history.
