His tricks and flicks.. end up giving the ball to the opposition...his inability to see a colleague in better postion. It seems he thinks he's a better player than he is. He can not hold the ball up or beat a player. He is a good Div 2 player nothing more. He has done nothing in 2023. Vale and Brown both better footballers. He should on the bench tomorrow. Needs a kick up the arse.

The irony to all of this is that most opponents still rate him after we have played them. Even Derby described him as very tricky but they contained him and stopped him getting chances in the box. |Its ironic that his own supporters feel that he underperforms but that is because we are comparing him with what we know he can deliver with the massive ability that he truly has.

Nice interview with the fella, saying he's happy at the Rovers and will be here for the next 2 years.

Aaron has not been the same player since the diagnosis of Nick Anderton. I look back at the photo of them up the lamppost on Gloucester Road, and so much has changed for both of them.

Needs a kick up the arse. I’ve never known a Rovers player have such an amazing calendar year -2022 followed by such a poor one -23 . Last year he was incredible and won league 1 player of the season based mostly on the first 5 months because after Christmas his form starting going downhill and hasn’t stopped since. However that doesn’t mean he’s not good enough for league 1 does it !! He’s showed that on form he’s unplayable at this level and as fans we need to stick by him and not write him off. Hopefully he’ll get the game or two break that most of us think he needs and come back firing on all cylinders because there is a very good player there we just need to find it again.

Haha , sorry tried copying & pasting and didn’t come out right. Basically, Collins is level 3rd in division for assists .

We could always play him where he scored 20 odd goals one season... imagine.

I think the downgrade from Coburn to Martin/Marquis as the starting striker has had a massive impact. Coburn used to move defenders all over the pitch and give Collins space to run into whilst also having enough speed himself, that he could get back up alongside Collins for goals. Whilst Martin and Marquis both have their positives, I'm not sure how many of them work to Collins strengths.

Where’s his head at .Hopefully someone at the club can reach out to AC,.We know he’s a good player but this is more than a slump. Something ain’t right.

For a club losing money hand over fist, don't you think the money could be better spent on a younger option with a potential sell-on value, rather than £7k+ p/w on a 3 year contract for someone with known fitness issues? We lack pace and and an option to stretch defences and run in behind. When you consider the Dutch top flight Eredivisie and French 2nd tier average weekly wage is £5.5k and £2.6k respectively, surely we are able to find a decent younger option with value somewhere across the globe?
