Even if Wael was prepared to offer him the job I feel DC would be mad to potentially ruin his Rovers legacy, regardless he needs to somehow prove he can manage a top 10 L1 side that's if another L1 club is prepared to give him a chance. But we’re not a top 10 league one side? That's surely the aim, if we just want to be a mid to lower L1 side then even more reason for DC to stay well away. |

Driving away from Vale Park (or whatever it's called) listened to BBC Stoke. Vale fans phoning in barely mentioned Rovers but were incensed that their players had got DC the sack. Concensus was that most of the players should follow him out of the door. Only reference to Rovers was that if their players thought beating a team already on the beach, they should think again.
