Joey Barton in the media saying the bidding will start at £4M.
Collins himself saying he’s looking forward to play for Rovers next season in league one.
Personally, I can’t see Collins staying and anything over £4M will be good business. I just hope it’s done quickly so we aren’t in limbo and looking for a replacement in late August.

4M is crazy, Collins is a nice chap he’s only saying that to be nice, he’ll move on.
Reckon we’ll get 2M, maybe 1.5 with some nice add ons and future sell on clause

He has a similar record to Collins and is a similar age. That was the most paid for a League One player last summer, I believe.

20 goals and 13 assists in league one before joining Burnley. Also won L1 player of the season.

I would say Twine is a good marker for what we should be aiming for but as you say, he edges it with age and goal involvements.

Within a healthy contract, the leagues best player, mid 20’s, at a club with top end aspirations under an ambitious manager, doesn’t have to go anywhere.
Nothing less than 3mill will suffice.

If you really listen to the interview I thinks he's saying that if he's in league one next season it'll be with us.

Would take anything north £2m as good business. No point selling for less in this window with 2 years on his contract. My prediction. West Brom or Southampton for £2.2 plus add ons.

Twine was bought by Burnley who had decent money to spend from their parachute payment, unless another former Premiership is interested in signing Collins this summer then we've not going to get similar offers.

You have to take into account the type of clubs that will be looking to buy Aaron.
Burnley were aided by parachute payments and selling a lot of players, that allowed them to spend more than others.
I’d be surprised if someone like Southampton (as a comparison to Burnley) were looking at Collins.
If it’s going to be a lower end champ club that looks at buying him then are they the sort of clubs that spend 4 million?
I suspect that a bid of 2 million with add ons will see him out the door.

I think we are presuming the worse you never know he may actually want to stay at the GAS if JB and Wael wants him too of course!

If he goes to the Sh!t for £4M is that good or bad ? Good for us. He isn't the type of player they need. Let's be honest, his goals were super important but he was quiet too often.

4m is totally realistic imo.
2million for a striker who scores goals and makes assist in mid 20s would be cheap.
The Club can't be mugged off if AC does wish to leave.

Agree with the 4m valuation.
Anything less and we're having our pants pulled down again.
