Was that the game where Rogvi Baldvinson or whatever our Faroe Islands international was called made his one and only appearance before leaving again about 5 days later? Or did Kenneth play and showed that he had the turning circle of a supertanker?

On a funkier note anyone hear last week, Roadman bigging up Chris Lines, obviously forgot Corona gate. I thought the other supporter came across far better whoever he is? I see Roadman is still making out he's best mates with Wael. Back to JB he's confirmed all the players under contract are now staying at the club, including Belshaw, and it seems Coutts his now leaving and not joining the coaching staff? JB suggested that as he goes to merseyside derbies with his Liverpool supporting mates then he can't see why the same can't happen in Bristol!! It doesn't sound as straightforward as the police just saying no, more likely yes but do you appreciate we'll need this many officers on duty

He now says promotion next season and get to Papa Johns Trophy final. Says Friendly between Rovers and City has been agreed with Nigel Pearson BUT Avon & Somersets finest has said No! In what world would we want a friendly with that lot? It’s lose lose. On the off chance they don’t batter us if we do win it’s just a friendly so means absolutely naff all I wish he would just shut up sometimes. Talks some absolute nonsense

I see Roadman is still making out he's mates with Wael he does given that impression when he's hurling abuse as his players from his seat in the West Stand!! Back to JB he's confirmed all the players under contract are now staying at the club, including Belshaw, and it seems Coutts his now leaving and not joining the coaching staff? Yep that was him, far superior than you and I could ever be, anyway I prefer Desperado over Corona if I had to choose to either live or die! Who is actually out of contract?

To be fair I would only want to keep Ward, Whelan yes as a coach, Coutts seems to have the job already, the rest can pack their bags, of the loan plates I would only want Bogarde or Gibson back. Couburn was good for the first half of the season but got found out from Christmas onwards.

Is Rodman out of contract? Thankfully he is, oddly he's not shown on the list on today's Bristol Live article and I forgot all about him. There's a fair bit of money freed up with Rodman, Jaakola, Whelan and Coutts all dropping off the wage budget plus Grant having to take a reduction, no wonder JB's now saying he wants to sign some experienced players, as he's now got the budget to do it

I remember watching Louis Carey testimonial at Bs3 with Rovers Shaquille Hunter made his debut in the game and before that in 2005 at the Mem. Plenty of police at both games Joey can't understand why it cannot go ahead.

Probably not freed up a huge amount, as there is usually an appearance related clause in contracts, and, if you don't hit the target your wage drops the following season. He missed quite a bit of the previous season due to having his foot broken in training.

Plenty of police at both games Joey can't understand why it cannot go ahead. Neither of the Managers have experienced a Bristol derby, so probably underestimate the intensity of ill feeling between some of the fans. The clubs don't pay for Police outside the ground, as far as I am aware, so it is understandable for the Police to block it - it isn't an essential match. Personally, I wouldn't want to go within 10 miles of wherever it was being played.

Bugger, I thought he said one year recently. he is very good at keeping the 1 per cent grinding their teeth and fuming. Reminds me how Ferguson used to keep Wenger simmering away for fun, season after season

We should never play city in a friendly. Even if they ended up out of the league somehow.
It never will be a friendly no matter how you dress it up.

We used to have the Gloucester Cup games every pre season, usually a week or two before the season started. I used to love those games. We were usually in the same Division before it got scrapped though, so we were always playing eachother reguarly. The rivalry has been heightened considerably I think, seeing as we rarely play eachother these days.

We played them for Carey’s Testimonial at AG in 2012. Low crowd, knock about game, got smashed 3-0. I was at the mall being dragged round the shops, damn sight better way to spend a day than entertaining a ‘friendly’ against that lot. Hideous idea IMO. Completely agree. Wouldn't be a friendly. Danger of Injuries and let's face it they are light years ahead of us and we'd get pumped. It's a no from me. They very rarely 'Pump' us. I remember the same being said back in 2007. They were a division above us then, they were absolutely sh**e, barely mustered a shot on goal over 2 games. The other JPT game in 2013 again they were a division above us, and only beat us 2-1 with 2 worldie goals, when we were at our lowest ebb.
