He now says promotion next season and get to Papa Johns Trophy final. Says Friendly between Rovers and City has been agreed with Nigel Pearson BUT Avon & Somersets finest has said No! Not sure if this a joke or not, as how can the police stop a game taking place? Because last time we played them at Trashton, the old Bill completely f**ked it up. They were crowing on the radio about how they’d “successfully” escorted about 200 Gas from Temple Meads to AG; meanwhile there were bundles going on all over the show - Ashton Park, 3 Lions, Miners Arms, outside KFC, all sorts. Literally hundreds & hundreds of people involved. The top 3 rozzers in charge (they call them Gold, Silver & Bronze Commanders) had no experience at all of Bristol derbies and got completely caught out. So their incompetence means we don’t get a “friendly” against the Sh*t. |

We played them for Carey’s Testimonial at AG in 2012. Low crowd, knock about game, got smashed 3-0. I was at the mall being dragged round the shops, damn sight better way to spend a day than entertaining a ‘friendly’ against that lot. Hideous idea IMO. Completely agree. Wouldn't be a friendly. Danger of Injuries and let's face it they are light years ahead of us and we'd get pumped. It's a no from me. So we shouldn't play friendlies against any Championship or Prem side? The only issue is the minority of people who want a punch up. Make it a mixed crowd, that way families and friends can sit together and prevent the segregation that turns normal people into complete chimps. |

I was in Hotwells after one of the games watching our fans get escorted from AG to the centre. Other towns seem to do it on a weekly basis, think of the rivalries we have in England! Ours is not that special. |

I thought the other supporter came across far better whoever he is? I see Roadman is still making out he's mates with Wael he does given that impression when he's hurling abuse as his players from his seat in the West Stand!! Back to JB he's confirmed all the players under contract are now staying at the club, including Belshaw, and it seems Coutts his now leaving and not joining the coaching staff? Yep that was him, far superior than you and I could ever be, anyway I prefer Desperado over Corona if I had to choose to either live or die! Who is actually out of contract? I still see you are good value on the forum Topper. I didn’t have an account until this morning but when I have a nose on here as a viewer, it makes me smile with your passionate posting still. But it brings me to why I opened an account, your posts were sent to me. I love the banter, Corona gate, BTW I still stand by I can see why we relegated, all the Lee Johnson stuff! It’s ironic, when I stayed with Wael in Jordan, a forum member who was on my social media decided to take the p**s out of me on this forum and now, you Topper are saying I’m making out we are mates, again I can let them go over my head………….but what I can’t accept is (SomersetGas) making out I’m shouting abuse at Wael’s players, I will correct him, they are our players. But it’s a lie, I’ve been a season ticket holder for 26 seasons and I very much support our players. Like all fans I might have a moan and grown, for my sins I shout at the officials and in some opposition players but even on this I have mellowed. Paul you are a grown man, act your age, you know where I am at the Mem, you’ve dug me out on this forum, why and why not say it to my face? Topper, appreciate your view mate on me on last weeks having a Gas, it wasn’t my finest phone in but I got on late due to a business meeting over running late. I stand by what I said though, Wael Al Qadi was fantastic coming to our table in the Peterborough lounge and spending time with us. I took two children with me, one of them lost their mother 6 weeks ago, he knew of this and made a special point to speak to Noah and Zak, he also agreed to take them to watch Chelsea. You mention I am superior, only one man is acting superior and judgemental on this forum. Finally I wish we had a player like Chris Lines, breaking the lines and running with the ball, his deliveries and set pieces as well. Lots of players like a beer or Corona, Jack Grealish today, I’m good with that. All the best lads. |

Would you care if someone had decided to pick on you and make up lies, publicly say he knows where you sit at the Mem and make up stuff, I think you would? Is this normal behaviour of an adult, it’s weird, I decided to leave this forum years ago, I received a text last night saying someone speaking about you on the forum, they know where you sit, he/she is saying you abuse the players, ego?
Perhaps I shouldn’t justify myself, but I won’t accept behaviour like this. I’ve never met Paul from my recollection, but if he has a problem with me, say it to my face. We are all Gas are we not, I just don’t get it, there is no ego about this. I have been brought to this public forum to defend myself, when I go on Having A Gas I don’t use a forum name user name, my actual name is used and lies are being told about me.

Yeah I don’t think that would work as well as you think it would. I am sure if it can be made a charity game or fundraiser of some sort then attitudes will change. Loads of City fans are coming to Marcus Stewarts game tomorrow. I very much doubt there will be any trouble. Rivals do tend to actually come together for a good cause. |

Yeah I don’t think that would work as well as you think it would. It would for me. Most lads who think they are part of a firm are raging hypocrites anyway. We all know a couple right? They have family, friends, colleagues who support the other side. Why not set up a boxing ring or something in the carpark for wannabes to prove themselves. Anybody being a prat will get outed by everybody else and can feel the full force of the law. |
