Slight difference GGMI. For a start the youngster didn't work for the BBC presenter. The parents were desperate for the presenter to stop sending funds to their child for sexually explicit photos which was used to fund a drug habit. Wouldn't any caring parent do the same. Whilst the youngster may already have had a drug habit it certainly doesn't help when they are receiving 10s of 1000s of pounds in an illegal manner. Allegedly Agreed

The bit that gets and annoys me is the mother blaming the presenter for their child's cocaine habit. If you work in Tesco and then spend money on cocaine after your shift, how is that Tesco's fault?! I kind of feel it is much ado about nothing but also intrigued by who it could be. Slight difference GGMI. For a start the youngster didn't work for the BBC presenter. Police force was contacted in April The BBC has just received a statement from a police force confirming two points made by the parents of the young person at the centre of allegations reported in the Sun against an unnamed BBC presenter.
The force confirms that it was contacted in April. It also says that "no criminality was identified" The force has now met the Metropolitan Police and the BBC and "as a result of recent developments, further enquiries are ongoing to establish whether there is evidence of a criminal offence" As a reminder, the BBC has confirmed the parents first complained to the corporation on 18 May.
Threatening messages sent by presenter to second young person More now on those fresh claims made by a second young person against the BBC presenter.
After the young person and the presenter had first connected on the dating app, the conversation moved to other platforms.
At this stage, the presenter revealed his identity and told the young person not to tell anyone.
Later, the young person alluded online to having contact with a BBC presenter, and implied they would name him at some point.
The presenter reacted by sending a number of threatening messages, which BBC News has seen.

Err as far as what's been reported the parents initially went to the Police, who clearly didn't know the law inrespect of sexually explicit photos involving a 17 year old, and took no action. They then went direct to the leftie BBC spending an hour with someone in charge requesting the presenter to stop who was helping to fund a drug habit. They waited weeks with no contact from the BBC and then went to the press. What more could a parent do ?

He can’t be taking responsibility for what the kid spends his money on?

If he wasn't requesting illegal sexually explicit photos and willing to pay money for them the child wouldn't have had the funds to maintain a drug habit.

But take away the illegal part and would you still feel the same? It’s an awakes situation really. I find it odd that this presenter can have sex with the teenager legally, but can’t posses photos?

The kid was 17 and he’s ( allegedly) at least 3 times his age .

That, my friend, is a complete misunderstanding of addiction (at worse) or a habit at best. He would, if addicted, found a way to fund his addiction.

Not 21 or over, as long as she was over 16. Ffs
