Yet to be seen whether they will.
We should of had 5 v Barnsley, and put Charlton to bed before a last gasp 98th minute winner.
We are very creative with Collins, Jevani Brown, Sinclair, Thomas, Harvey Vale etc, just imagine JCH on the end of their creativity.
30 goals easy imo.
What we're crying out for!
Edit: I do rate Marquis by the way.
But not for a counter attacking team set up.nless he massively improves his fitness we cant expect these players to wait for him to catch up to get on the end of a pass. JCH didnt look very fit when he played against us at home least season (having just returned from injury), far from it in fact. Still ended up joint top goalscorer in the league though....

Isn't JCH still in his third and final year of his 3 year contract? Joined Peterborough August 27th 2020 on a 4-year-deal.

Article 17 of the FIFA Transfer Regulations, which enables a player aged under 28 to terminate his contract after three years (and older players to leave after two years) without facing sporting sanctions. As he is over 28 does he have to wait?

As he is over 28 does he have to wait? No. The rule states that any player who signed a contract before the age of 28 can buy himself out of the contract three years after the deal. JCH was 26 when he signed the contract.

Apparently we put a bid in for JCH that was over £1million but they want £3million so think we should shut this thread down now as it ain't happening.

So they'll either lose him for nothing at the end of the season, or for a far smaller fee than £1M in January. Doesn't sound like something MacAnthony would do.

I don't see JCH being the answer to our prayers.....I'd rather we brought in a young hungry League 2 type player who has something to prove. Tbh, I have no suggestions to make as I'm a little rusty in that department

They'd should be lucky to get their money back with a year left on his contract

Well spotted Topper. That to me could be pulling power to get a good deal for JCH and maybe why League One clubs have been enquiring as they feel they've got a good chance with Peterboroughs finance situation.
