I'm wondering if the £2.22 million we were supposedly prepared to pay out for the JCH transfer could be better spent elsewhere? It could be argued that having lost both Coburn and Loft recently we could actually now do with a couple of extra centre forward options and I'm sure if we spent the next 4 months scouring the globe we could find two younger options that are capable of scoring goals that would also have a potential future sell-on value? Let's say £4,000 per week on a 3-year-contract = £624,000 x two players = £1,248,000, you also then have the remaining £1,000,000 for any transfer fees/wages if necessary or increase in budget for other areas? Following on from this post, If some of the reported average yearly salaries for players around the world are near accurate then we shouldn't have a problem putting together a decent list of targets for £390,000. The average Australian A-League salary is roughly £176,612 per year, the South Korean K-League salary is £92,506 per year, the French Ligue 2 salary is £135,414 per year, La Liga 2 is £249,412 per year, Bundesliga 2 is £264,730, Serie B is £307,453 and the top flight Belgium Pro League is £261,993 and the top flight Netherlands Eredivisie is £288,688 (all figures taken from footystats.org site). |

Cheaper in Jan. lovely jubbly. Best bit of business this summer not signing him ! We offered far too much money 800k (1m with add ons) . Now a playoff rival has a disgruntled player and if we do still want him in jan the price should be at least half of what we offered before 😀👍 |

Interesting to see that he played 90 minutes yesterday. They brought in replacements for him but he still plays ahead of them?
Will be interesting to see how this plays out between now and the end of the year.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out between now and the end of the year. They are probably stuck in a difficult situation with JCH right now. They're trying to reshape their team so should play their new acquisitions, but in January they need to cash in on JCH and only by playing him will they have any chance of generating a proper fight for his signature and keep his price as high as they want. But will that be to the detriment of their results/performances and if they can't get him firing in the goals again will many be that interested still? 🤔 |

If the manager doesn't want to play him then that's his choice. Can a player under contract just say I don't want to play in this game? |
