If he still wants back at the Mem no way will they play him. He won’t want to harm our chances of promotion / a solid finish to the season. He might get more offers in January, if anything I think he will be more up for the game. As he will want to impress. |

If the manager doesn't want to play him then that's his choice. Can a player under contract just say I don't want to play in this game? It’s not about if the player is choosing to play. If he wants out and moreso he wants out to the club he happens to be playing that day it wouldn’t be a great idea for the manager to play him |

Don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want the bloke who has scored more goals than anyone else in this division in recent seasons in their side. It’s not as if it’s our money being spend - if the owners are happy to spend it then good on them. |

Another 90 minutes and goal yesterday which at least shows he is still being professional rather than sulking about the whole situation.
Many said he wouldn't play against us next week but they have no reason to drop him.

It’s not as if it’s our money being spend - if the owners are happy to spend it then good on them. If it's a simple would we want JCH, yes or no. Then nearly everyone would say Yes! But if it's a case of spending a million on him, or a million on an up and coming player with more potential, then it's not so simply. Plymouth spent £900,000 on Morgan Whittaker. He's 22, did well in League 1 before being recalled and scored a hat trick in the championship yesterday. Personally I think if we are spending that amount, then it would be better to bring in a player with potential on their way up. Or could we spend £500,000 on a striker and similar on a defender instead?? A lot will depend on who else is available for the money and willing to sign for us. So not as easy as a yes or no. |

Correct. Plus the landscape will be different next time. If he is leading the charts on 12+ goals and pboro are doing well, they are very unlikely to let the main striker leave. Likewise, if we are not pulling up trees and having another consolidation..why would the player want that? Apparently he's got a contact in Bristol? That might alter. Injury, our strikers might resist, JB gets sacked, Wael leaves, AN other club offers more, etc. |

Bang on the money, maybe it was meant not to happen, if we looked at the foreign talent I bet there are some financially better prospects, if he was to get us promoted then the outlay would be worth it, but there are other options. It s easy to spend other peoples money ask my son Archie who has his own boot room 😂😂😂 |

Watching big John yesterday the guy didn't give up chasing and hassling their defence all game. This alone created the errors and space the likes of collins and Thomas can thrive and exploit. Stick Harris up top and the whole system has to be rejigged again just to suit him.

Watching big John yesterday the guy didn't give up chasing and hassling their defence all game. This alone created the errors and space the likes of collins and Thomas can thrive and exploit. Stick Harris up top and the whole system has to be rejigged again just to suit him. Excellent point. JM until his goal could have been seen as anonymous from a goal scorer perspective, but he does so much and works so hard making life horrible for the defence. That no doubt creates so much space and opportunities for the guys behind him. Very important part of this system. Big John is brilliant. So glad he also did the JCH thing and scored a great header too. |
